13 Brands Spotted
This week's round-up of recently launched brands
Want to clean up your coffee order without giving up the sweet stuff? This week we spotted Poca, a new kind of zero-calorie syrup that wants to rival stevia drops. Its single-serve sachets come in flavors like pistachio, caramel and vanilla, and are made with monkfruit and allulose. It's a simple idea, and it's being executed by two buffs in the consumer products space. Co-founders Hilary Coles and Emily Boschwitz are the former co-founder and marketing head, respectively, of Hims.
Elsewhere in food and drink, UK brand Nonni sells not-so-sporty electrolyte drinks, Talo has packed beef fat into squeezy bottles, Snooz makes ice cream that sends you to sleep, and Lasso has come out with protein-packed jelly cups. Froobies sells upgraded fruit snacks — same nostalgic format, but with 4g of protein — and CronchClub sells baked chickpea crisps.
