12 Brands Spotted

New and emerging brands, curated by the Thingtesting team

If you have been wondering when the number of new drinks brands launches might slow down, we are here to tell you: not this week. Bloc Wines is putting premium boxed vinos on the table, Summer Camp is rethinking iced tea, Ciggys wants the lads to get on the hard seltzers, and Aussie footballer Sam Kerr has launched Wawa, a watermelon soda.

For the pantry, we have spotted a new, garlic-heavy chili crip from Drama Oil. M*stard sells Dijon, but yassified, and Le Lick is pitching electrolyte lollipops as a workout snack.

Beauty brands are also going increasingly niche, with MAYAH's lotions and potions that are safe for mothers during pregnany and beyond, and Bon Elliot's concept of "easywear" — meaning, skincare that contains great ingredients, but doesn't require a many-step routine. The Smilery continues the premium oral care trend we've been following with its produced in Paris range.

Rounding things out, we have two wildcards. Peace is a fashion brand launched by veterans from Albam and Dr Martens, and Phare Labs makes a sleek fire alarm that connects to your phone and somehow uses AI to make sure it never misses a fire, and never sends a false alarm.
