15 Brands spotted
New and emerging brands, curated by the Thingtesting team
This week, the line between what you eat and what you wear kept blurring. Mimi Time just debuted its collagen jelly snack from Cocokind founder Priscilla Tsai and beauty creator Ava Lee, Yom Beauty launched a lip mask made entirely of food-grade ingredients, since whatever's on your lips ends up in your mouth anyway, Andie Body puts your summer glow in gummy form, and Dear Biology sells a melatonin-free sleep supplement.
We also spotted Entle Beaute, still in preorder mode with 1,500+ people on the waitlist for its skin-evening body mousse, Peely Skin, the self-proclaimed world's first peeling stick, and Glas Skin, pairing Brazilian botanical tradition with actives like resveratrol.
Design objects had a good week too. We Build Lamps sells sculptural table lamps, Roso turned tea strainers and spoons into collectibles, and Pinch put its seasoning in a tin nice enough to leave on the counter.
Also spotted: Guava Smells's all-natural perfumes, Coraz's Florence-roasted espresso, Era69's crème made for "intimate skin," Theyia Cosmetics's lip plumper and stain duo, and Strangers, bringing back the hard candy your grandparents had, just with unusual, rare flavor combos instead.
