    Works for Callahan Knitwear

As a lizard person who is perpetually cold, I am serious about my knits. I bought my first Callahan sweater from a local boutique almost 10 years ago, and I *still* wear it. Callahan specializes in super classic, oversized "boyfriend" sweaters, but they do a lot of other cool things with knitwear throughout the year. My Callahan sweaters have only gotten better with time, and the price point is great, too.

Friends with SAY IT DO IT

There are a lot of "cool" party games out there these days, but Say It Do It is definitely one of the most thoughtful. I've gifted this deck a few times, and played it a couple of times with friends. We are not "game night" people so it was nice that there was not a set of rules that everyone had to follow - just picking cards and letting the conversation flow freely.

    Works for All Roads

I first discovered All Roads shopping at Mojave Flea in Palm Springs, and loved everything at their booth. Their handmade napkins and kitchen towels are super high quality, and I love all their patterns and colors. They sell other cute, desert-themed gifts so they're perfect for creating a cute gift set.

I originally got the Long Robe for my wedding day to wear in the bridal suite, but I have *loved* wearing my it around the house ever since. It's incredibly soft, luxurious, and has a great weight to it, so it doesn't feel flimsy or too thin. Perfect for lazy summer mornings or for when I'm getting ready for a night out.

There is not shortage of self-care brands out there, but I absolutely love the scents from Muse. I keep their Peace Ceremony at my work desk (it's where I need the most peace,) use the Linen Spray on my pillow before I go to bed, and I'm always gifting the Bubble Bath to friends and family. I don't get into "woo-woo" brands that often, but scent is such a powerful sense and I love taking a moment to stop, breathe, connect with a scent and relax before a meeting, right as I go to bed, or whenever I need it.

    Wild One

My two boys need martingale style collars because of the size of their heads, but since they aren't safe to wear at home, they needed something smaller they could wear all the time. I love the Wild One collars because they are super lightweight, easy to keep clean, and pretty stylish.

    Feedback

Wish they had better harnesses for big dogs. It looks like the harness part is the same size as the smaller ones, but they just lengthened the nylon straps instead of making the harness bigger.

    Optimist Drinks

We got to taste all three flavors at a party I attended, and everyone really love these. They are definitely unique in taste, and I love that they include what the alcoholic equivalent is (ex: a Citrusy Vodka.) They are some *interesting* tasting non-alcoholic spirits out there that I have not loved, but I found Optimist to be super fresh, flavorful, and a realistic alternative to a cocktail. Also love that they guide you to which mixers and garnishes to use, but it's still not an overly complicated drink.

    Thinx

I get that Thinx might not work for a lot of people and I can totally understand why, but they work for me, and I am *so* thankful. After not having a period for 10+ years, I was not ready to go back to wearing tampons once I got off birth control. I am hashtag blessed with a relatively light period that lasts 3-4 days, so I can wear Thinx underwear without any other protection, and have never really had any leaks or other issues. I even wore these when I lived without a washer and dryer (I just took them in the shower with me.) Again these might not be as easy breezy for people with heavier periods, but if it meant even one or two days not having to wear a tampon, it would be worth it to me.

    Feedback

I'm used to wearing cotton underwear, so the materials aren't the most comfortable, though I get why they need to use them. They do also feel a little bulky sometimes.

    P.F. Candle Co.

There are one billion "cool" candles out there nowadays, but PF was one of the firsts. Their Teakwood & Tobacco scent and amber vessels are totally iconic, and my fave scents include Eucalyptus & Neroli, Los Angeles, and one from their newest Soft Focus collection, Canyon Hideaway. We've had countless candles in our home for years, burn their incense cones outside, and there's always a diffuser in the bathroom. They are serious about fragrance and a fun brand to watch grow.

    Feedback

They've raised their prices over the years, but good for them?

    Bathing Culture

I'll admit I first bought the Mind & Body Wash because I wanted a cool looking bottle in my shower, but using it the last couple of months I've been pleasantly surprised. I am a Dr. Bronner's sort of gal when it comes to soap, and it's usually tough to venture far from that, but the woods-y scent and concentrated formula of Bathing Culture absolutely does the trick. I love that it's gender neutral, too.
