Skincare can often be very intimidating when you start to think about what ingredients and products your skin might need, so I really appreciate the simplicity that The Ordinary offers. It never feels complicated and extremely clear about which product tackles which issue. I would always recommend starting with The Ordinary as the price point is great and I tend to get great results with most of their procuts.

    Koala Eco

I used the Lemon Scented Eucalyptus and Rosemary hand wash and I simply adore the smell. It makes me feel refreshed after each use. The soap is more runny/thinner than other liquid hand soaps I've used in the past and you only need to press the pump gently to get the soap out. My sister has who has sensitive skin usually has issues and struggles with scented hand soaps, but none with this one which is a huge plus! I also appreciate Koala Eco's mission goals and dedication to the environment, which is good choice for a consumer if you are trying to be more sustainable in your purchases. Unfortunately Koala Eco is not available everywhere yet, most of their stores are in Australia and a few dotted in Asia and the US (I live in Europe), so it's difficult to justify the regular purchase and shipping cost. Hopefully that changes soon, because it is a wonderful product and I'd love to repurchase it asap!

I love the simple basics of Muji and always find myself going back to this store whenever I need an uncomplicated product that works. My absolute favourite product from Muji is their socks and they last a very long time (depending on how often you wear them, they can last years)! I've been delving into their skincare range lately (which is not wide in the UK) and while it is limited, I appreciate you can get a cost-effective product. I've used their toner and oil cleanser which are great basics to have and not too expensive to use. I look forward to the day that the UK stores are as big as the Japan and stock more essentials!
