Love IWI products omega and joint. Would be nice if there was an auto redeem points and auto apply to the next subscription order.

"For you, and the planet"? I THINK NOT.
I cannot comment on the actual product because I am too distracted by the size of the bottle in relation to the number of capsules that it contains. I opened the bottle today, and it is literally half full. This company purports to be "for the planet" but when it comes to hoodwinking the consumer into thinking they are receiving a much larger quantity of supplements than they actually are, they have succeeded. Bottom line: I feel ripped off, and I am annoyed by iwi's blatant green-washing.

I wanted an Omega-3 particularly for joint health management that wasn’t made with fish oil and provided high absorption. I was so happy to also discover the sustainable manner in which iwi is farmed and cultivated. I’ve been using this product for several years and plan to continue for the foreseeable future! I’ve referred many friends to these products - thank you for responsibly providing valuable products!

I needed a source of Omega-3 for gut issues. I didn’t want to take fish oil, so found Iwi after being recommended by a friend. I believe it to be a great product. Aloha

This product is wonderful but the last couple of times I received it multiple prenatal vitamins had busted open and therefore had the bottle and pills smelling like fish oil. Very unpleasant and has to throw out the ones that leaked. Other that that I like this product

I am so glad someone is marketing Algae at an affordable price. I was involved with a company in OR I used to get it from and knew I could trust them, and this company looks just as dedicated and ethical. I'm so glad to be eating algae again! Debbie U Smyrna, GA

IWI makes a high quality product and doesn't contain any heavy metals. I have been using this vitamin brand for a few years now and they make a big difference.

I LOVE that there is no fishyness, it is easy to swallow and my brain feels great! I feel more relaxed about my health goals now and being vegan!
I'm two weeks in with the omega-3 algae pills, and so far so good! - no fishy aftertaste - no post-nausea - cute, tiny pill size makes it easy to swallow - packaging is nice to look at, and easy to open Feels more luxurious than the normal omega-3 supplement bottles that are at the local pharmacy. I've added a photo showing the huge size difference between iwi life and a swanson omega 3 pill. Compared to the fish oil supplements I was taking, I much prefer the iwi life algae.
High-quality product, great mission, and lovely packaging. I was drawn to this product because I've long wanted to increase my Omega-3 intake, but the idea of taking fish oil pills makes me gag. I was hopeful that iwi life's pills would avoid the smell and stench issues of fish oil pills, but unfortunately, that wasn't quite the case. I haven't noticed any foul taste/burps (though I do always take these with food, so that could be masking it), but I did notice a funky smell any time I open the pill bottle. I guess that comes with the territory of algae! All in all, a quality product, and a great option for vegan folks.

If it's possible to mask the smell further, that would be great.

I was excited to try this product seeing as it’s a vegan alternative to fish based Omega-3s & touted as a sustainable, ocean friendly product. However, much to my dismay upon opening the product I found that the plastic container contents was only 1/4 of the way full. The amount of plastic waste for this product is unreasonable compared to the amount of softgels per container. This happens fairly often with many products and I always feel ripped off when I see this. I’m sure iwi could easily reduce the size of the plastic bottle or just fill it with more capsules. Plastic waste is a major environmental concern, and I’m not comfortable purchasing this product for future use despite its good quality.

I recommend this brand to people all the time. Regular fish oil was too burp-y for me so i switched to iwi HEART and am much happier. And even better, my total cholesterol went from 228 to 206!

I tried iwi cholesterol for 3 months and my bad cholesterol lowered by 25 points! I had tried flax seed omegas previously and they didn’t work at all. These little iwi pills are natural magic in a bottle! Highly recommend!!!! Also, zero negative side effects.
hard to find a good vegan omega 3. really enjoy Iwi life, just wish they were a bit less expensive.

Supplements are difficult to review, especially something as subtle as Omega-3 so this review will not attempt to address efficacy. I really like these, I love that no animals (fish, krill) have to die, I love that algae is a renewable resource. The packaging is great, the capsules are easy to swallow and do not have any off taste. These are fairly pricy at $0.85-$1.13 per serving depending on subscription discounts, compared to $0.21 per serving for my current krill oil (Swanson). In my opinion, the iwi life capsules do have a better active ingredient ratio than my generic krill oil. Im not sure if the upgrade is worth the price difference, but the sustainability and active ingredient ratios are compelling.

Small, super easy to swallow with 0 taste. Take them with food. Too soon to see any effects, but I will update my review after I finish the bottle.

No notes. Seems to be a good Omega-3 from all I can tell.
I'm all for improving my life in any small ways I can, and if that means trying out supplements to see what works best, I am all for it. I have been doing my best to take two of these small capsules a day to see if there is any noticeable improvement, but I always struggle with being consistent, so there are some lapses in time where I do not take any. It could be because I am on the younger end, but I have a hard time noticing any effects when I take supplements. My hair seems pretty much the same, and my nails have never had issues growing so that is also not a big change. It may be helping lessen some lower back pain I have been having, but it is hard to tell. It could also be that I am not good at identifying small differences with my body! As for the pills themselves, I really like them because they are super easy to swallow and do not have any strange smells or tastes. And it makes sense they would not be fishy because it is made with algae. The one thing that is pretty crazy to me, however, is the price. For a one-time purchase, it is $1.13 per serving, which does not seem like too much- but when you are supposed to take it daily, it means purchasing a bottle without a subscription will set you back over $30! Perhaps I am just not used to the supplement world where this is a fair price since that seems quite expensive to me. Since I love talking about fun designs, I also want to mention that I am in love with the bottle. They incorporate the iwi logo wherever they can, including on the top of the cap and around the sides of it. Overall, if you are looking for a vegan alternative to fish supplements, this seems to be a good option. The mini softgels are perfect for anyone that has trouble swallowing large supplements, and they will not have to deal with any weird smells. I still have a few more softgels before I finish my bottle, so hopefully these last few do have some more noticeable results!
