I'm a HUGE fan of the slug balm. I've been using it after my retinol at night and it keeps my skin super smooth and hydrated. I can't speak to the entire line, but would absolutely recommend the balm.

Love the branding, love the product, will be buying this again. I wasn't super worried about it working, but it surpassed my expectations. I would suggest anyone give this a try if you need a little extra hydration in your skincare routine.

I wish Futurewise offered more products!

I received the balm during a Thingdrop. I was really excited to try this. I use another brand's balm religiously.

I just didn't find this to do anything. The packaging is cute and high-quality but I found the product to feel greasy and not really do much. It's a bit overpriced for what it is and it feels like most of the cost is for the packaging.

After receiving the Slug Balm during thing drop, I decided to give the whole line a try. It was really easy to incorporate it into my regular routine. The packaging is super cute! After a couple of weeks, my skin feels more moisturized and supple. Slug Boost has a really nice fine mist. I’ll be honest, I don’t really understand toners but I use them. This feels good as the first step of my skin care routine and as a refresher later in the day. Slug Cream is watery and light. It’s not my favorite moisturizer, but I will definitely get use out of it. Slug Balm is my favorite product of the line. It’s thick but doesn’t feel too goopy on you face. I feel like it fully sets in by the morning. I like using it as a lip balm in the morning as a lip balm

Only spend your money on this is the perfect "shelfie" for you is purely aesthetic. The branding is great, but its perturbing to me that this is $24 for less than 2oz of hydrogenated vegetable oil. You might as well buy a big tub of crisco for $10. Its just shortening, lol. It feels, smells and looks like shortening. This was my first foray into slugging, and while I get the context, I dont think this method is for me. But even if I did try this style again I would look for an occlusive on the market that at least has some kind of active ingredients.

The packaging is really cute, the website is super fun. The product didn't do anything for me other than make me feel extremely greasy, more so than Vaseline. I didn't like the way it sat on my skin at all, and I feel like you'd have to wash your pillowcase after every single time you use it. I just found myself reaching for my trusty tub of Egyptian Magic over this every time.

Really wanted to like it, and I'm not saying the product itself is bad necessarily, but I just don't see a need for a skincare line dedicated solely to slugging. These just appear to be standard, run of the mill basic products curated into a "line" and put in cute packaging to be upsold at a huge margin.

I wasn't too impressed with the product. It was just like vaseline.

I received the Slug balm through a Thingdrop and was super excited to try this brand. I've never slugged before but was interested in trying it because in the past year, the skin on my cheekbones have become SO sensitive and dry. I've really focused on hydration and skin barrier repair there and, with the winter upon us, was eager to use this as well for some added barrier protection. I was a little worried this would cause me to break out or create milia because she's a thick gel. So I would recommend only placing it where you really need to. My cheeks are not as prone to acne as my t-zone is, so I've only focused the slug balm there. I will say that having this layer of protection over my skin after moisturizing and adding a facial oil has been SO helpful to my skin recovering faster from the sensitivity to dry winter air. It looks like it's going to last a while as well! I have never used Vaseline or Aquaphor to slug, so I can't compare as of now. But I do love how the slug balm is easily spreadable, which may not be the case for larger amounts of Vaseline on your skin. But this product has opened my eyes to the benefits of slugging sensitive areas and will definitely be something I continue to do in the winter months.

I would love more education around slugging on the website since I was very new to it. I had to read elsewhere that you don't want to put actives like retinol or vitamin C on areas where you're going to slug because it can cause irritation, so things like that would be really nice to have for better education from the brand.

I got the slug balm through a thing drop. I love it! It has a great texture and feel on the skin. My dry skin loves it.
