Ballerina Farm earns strong reviews for flavorful, creamy protein powders and thoughtfully designed home goods, though taste polarizes for those sensitive to stevia/monk fruit and some packaging frustrates. Reviews affirm the brand is good—standouts include Maple Cinnamon “cereal milk” flavor, Vanilla Bean’s clean finish, fine French salt’s refined balance, and sturdy Weck jars—while drawbacks include artificial aftertaste for some, messy bag packaging, slower shipping experiences, and concerns about undisclosed testing details.

  • I got the Maple Cinnamon flavor and I like it so far. I've only tried it as a protein shake right so far and was very impressed (I usually can't drink protein shakes at all) but I am excited to try it in other formats as well. The flavor is great and the texture is pretty good (you just need to mix well). I can't speak to any of the benefits of colostrum, etc but will be implementing as a part of my breakfast routine. Shipping took longer than expected but I appreciated the several touch points of communication along the way.

  • After the news reported lead is found in protein powders, I contacted Ballerina Farms regarding their Protein Powders. They would not divulge any information about the third party company that tests their powders or the average amount of lead found. Companies that have nothing to hide would give this info to their customers. I have discontinued any future purchases.
