Sonos
Experience
Love the products. The sound quality and easy set up are super clutch but the Sonos app sucks. It is the absolute worst. When it works, it works. When it does not, it absolutely does not. The hardware is awesome but the software feels so outdated and doesn't feel like it's responding to how we engage with music/streaming services in 2023.
Lululemon
Experience
I never thought I'd be a lululemon consumer but a friend gifted me a pair of their crop pant. A year and a half later and I have five colors and it's my staple bottom. Not only is the quality great but the customer service is pretty absurdly 'above and beyond.' Highly recommend.

The owners of the brand were giving out samples at my local coffee shop (Metric in Chicago) and decided to give it a whirl. Was a bit skeptical at first but it's delicious, has killer branding, and was unexpectedly versatile. I've been seeing it pop up on cocktail menus around Chicago and I've been pleasantly surprised by those applications. Awesome company and hope they come out with more!

Got these as a gift and the unboxing experience was fantastic. Definitely keeping this brand in my back pocket for gifts of my own! The grippy lids are a nice touch and there has been no tunneling to speak of. The quality is great and the scents are subtle and not too overdone. Will definitely be purchasing on my own.
Fabletics
Experience
My partner recommended I try their monthly subscription. Seemed like a good idea and the price is decent but several of the pieces just are very good quality and was not something I could see justifying a recurring purchase for. Would be willing to pay more for better quality.
Banza
Experience
Tastes decent but don't cook it like regular pasta. You wanna pull a little earlier than you normally would a dried pasta. They overcook super easily. The texture of the noodle is also a bit mealy. Great pasta alternative if you're GF but if you're just switchin it up, stick to reg pasta.
Feedback
The mealiness of the texture is not it so be aware of that if you're looking for something that tastes and behaves just like a traditional pasta. More information about what to expect/differences would be helpful.
The Ordinary
Experience
I don't know anything about skincare. Now I do. Was confused about skincare. Now I'm not. Best line for entry level skincare folks who don't know anything but are interested in transparency, low ingredient count, and affordability.

New-ish to skin care so transparency and low ingredients are huge for me. Pretty brand-loyal to deciem/ordinary products for those two reasons. When I received mine (was sent a sample) I thought it was ok and didn't find significant benefit over the deciem/ordinary products I was already using. Deciem is also pretty affordably priced. My guess is I'm not their demo (younger male, newer to skincare).
Liquid Death
Experience
Interacted with the product several times in the wild (they were giving out free samples at a few vendor markets in Chicago) but purchased for the first time for our New Year's party at home. We don't have a built in water-filter in the fridge so instead of re-filling the Brita 10 times over the course of the night we got two 12s of the regular sparkling and we got several compliments on it....Not what we expected to be thanked for but our guests really appreciated it. My (sober) buddy shared that he can be usually found at a party with a bottle of water and hates how he sometimes nervously crunches and squeezes the thin plastic bottles. Having a hard can that doesn't look out of place with heavily designed booze brands was a small win for him; 'I'm not the squeaky one tonight.' lol. Never thought that'd make such a difference for folks but I get it and will purchase again.

Bought this to stuff my partner's stocking. Went with the larb b/c I know she loves that dish and honestly the thing that got me was the website. Love the video content and 'virtual assistant.' They looks great (packaging-wise) so is a great gift but also delivers on flavor and time (!!). I knew they'd be fast but didn't realize how 'all-in-one' the experience is. Highly recommend.
