I’ve tried a whole lot of non alcoholic beers. My step dad exclusively drinks Athletic and an other family members get migraines when they drink so they love the option. I like Visitor’s minimalist style - cans definitely have a cool vibe.
The beer itself is solid, but nothing remarkable. There are a lot of decent to good tasting NABs now, so I’m hoping Visitor finds ways to distinguish themselves from the pack. Currently, the flavor profile is like a hoppy lager - it works and I’ll drink ‘em, but would like to see what else Visitor has in store.
I don't write a lot of negative reviews. Most brands here are pretty good. Milkbar has severely disappointed me when it comes to their DTC business. Their retail items have always been fresh and delicious. But in stores, the cookies are crap. They say inspired by the real compost cookie, etc. but don't waste your time.
I LOVE cookies (just ask my wife) and these are really average...at best.
Levain cookies are legit AF. Hands down. They've mastered the distribution too. For a cookie thats sent in the mail and has to be specially reheated from frozen to taste right, it still works. Not the same as in person, but damn good.
I have been wearing Everlane for years as I was in SF when they were just getting started and having shopping parties with free drinks in their office. It's incredible what they've done to inspire the industry on transparency and manufacturing essentials at scale with quality in mind.
My one knock on them is fit - it's always been a bit boxy for a modern brand which means you have to play around with sizing.
Yoga brands are a dime a dozen these days but Alo stands out with a premium product - price and perfection match.
High quality products that live up to the hype. My wife stocked up and has been going through her inventory over the last few months.
Love the branding design and marketing. The flavor is totally pleasant. Not sure I feel much from drinking this but nice to have an alcohol alternative that feels special and tastes good.
What a fascinating and very fun experience. These frozen coffee cubes make a delicious cuppa and I love that it works for iced or hot! Amazing packaging and love the partnerships with specific roasters.
I got into Fellow early when I discovered them in San Francisco. I got the OG Stagg kettle (no electric) and still use it today. It’s become a bit battered from the gas stovetop use but still works well and looks well all things considered. I also got the pour over set which is gorgeous and works well. Most importantly it lets me brew delicious coffee!
Excellent flavor, design and purchase experience. Got these for my mother in law and she’s obsessed!
