    Supergoop!

Unseen sunscreen is the GOAT, especially if you wear both sunscreen and makeup everyday. It feels great and looks great and seems to be good under makeup. I've tried a couple of the other products as well and they seem good too, but Unseen Sunscreen is the one thing I will rebuy from Supergoop forever. Pricey but worth it.

    Feedback

These are expensive but in my experience the Unseen Sunscreen is worth it. The other products I've tried from Supergoop seem good too (glow oil, glow screen, play sunscreen), but all are a bit expensive.

I have a variety of Outdoor Voices items but the star of the show is their sports bras. They are some of the best I have found and in my 30 years I have tried a lottttttt of sports bras. I have a few other items from them that I like too, like leggings and t shirts, but the sports bras stand out as amazing while the leggings don’t. The cloud knit fabric is also incredibly soft and comfortable and I do recommend that line, especially if you can get it on sale.

    Feedback

I wish that the leggings had either tighter waists or better ways to cinch the waists - I find that I am often pulling up my OV leggings mid-exercise. Other than that, everything I have from OV is amazing.

Another case of an overhyped hip product that just doesn’t do what you want it to do. I found these to be pretty flavorless, have a pretty bad texture (way too hard, not like normal breakfast cereal), and not keep me full any longer than any other bowl of cereal would. I got these with high hopes because I love cereal and ended up not finishing the boxes.

    Feedback

Overall these weren’t nearly as good as I wanted them to be or as the hip, pretty marketing materials said they would be.

    Away

I’ve had the away smaller carry on suitcase for over 5 years now and still use it for every single trip. It works perfectly for nearly every weekend trip or longer trip where you need to keep your luggage small. My husband has the newer one and it does seem quite a bit better in terms of how it rolls and how the handle goes up and down smoothly, but we are both very happy with our suitcases. I also recently got the FAR backpack and love it so far - it’s the perfect traveling backpack and I say that as someone who has tried them *all*.

    Feedback

Strongly recommend the suitcases themselves - the smaller carryon has been perfect and never been an issue on any flight, even on small European airlines with tight restrictions. I also love the FAR backpack so far.

Am I an olive oil connoisseur? No. But are these delicious and cute to have out on your counter? Yes. We love the olive oils, the basil oil, and the chili oil. The champagne vinegar is amazing. These make amazing housewarming gifts and are staples in our kitchen. I also like that the bottles (of oil) are completely opaque so that I can keep them on the counter without worrying that they will go bad.

    Feedback

I wish there was a way to try the different products more easily before buying, or even to try the different products in a set when you buy a set. I often buy sets with the intention of keeping one or two and giving the rest away but it would be amazing if I could taste what comes in the set to see which to keep and which to gift to which friends.

    Brooklinen

I’ve found there to be huge variation in Brooklinen’s products. I’ve had great linen sheets from there and linen sheets that were completely unfinished or shoddily finished, with buttons and ties coming off or already off when it arrived. The sheets feel nice but the consistency isn’t there.

    Feedback

With the inconsistency in finishing, I don’t see myself buying from them again.

    Our Place

I only have the Always Pan from Our Place so this review really only applies to that. I think this pan is overhyped and underperforming. One time my roommate was using it and burned the bottom and their customer service said it wasn’t supposed to be used on high heat…… For a pan that is supposed to do it all, that doesn’t sound like a reasonable limitation to me. It isn’t a good multitasking pan if you can only safely use low and medium heat on it. That being said, they replaced the burnt one and I use the replacement pan for low-heat things like frying eggs, which it does well. I don’t plan to replace it when it gets to be in bad condition.

    Feedback

If you are looking for a true multitasker, the Always Pan is not it. You’re better off using stainless steel and some extra oil or butter so that your pan can be used on any heat or put into the oven.

    Sheertex

These are genuinely so much better than other tights out there. I am someone who tears and causes runs in tights most of the time that I wear them and these are the first that actually stand up to my use and last for many, many wears. They also don’t cause the weird itchy painful feeling that you sometimes get between your thighs at the end of a long day of wearing tights. The fact that I feel comfortable even tugging on these to hike them up when needed is practically revolutionary in tights. I only wear Sheertex tights now and love that I don’t have to be so gentle and careful in them.

    Feedback

I’d love a control top with a layered gusset crotch option for easier bathroom trips.

The absolute best if you are a picker! These are the only patches that have actually convinced me to not pick and just put on the patch and wait! They draw out/dry out breakouts quickly, keep me from touching any pimples (keeping them cleaner and healing faster), and even work under makeup. I work remotely so I wear these on zoom with a little bit of makeup on so they blend in and nobody can tell. They are my go-to for breakouts and have helped reduce scarring on my face since I started using them. I even got them for my dad and he rocks them now too :)

    Feedback

It is so hard to pick them off of the little sheet without bunching up the edge that you grab them on or otherwise making it so that they don’t lie 100% flat on your face. I don’t mind because they are so good in other ways and sometimes if they are handy I do it with tweezers but I wish they were a little bit more resilient to human error.

    Uniqlo

For the price, you can’t beat Uniqlo’s basics. Their tees, tanks, socks, and outerwear all seem to be high quality for the price and absolutely get the job done. I bought one of the long packable puffers for a last minute trip once to a very very cold December in South Korea and found that it was perfect for travel. It was warm enough that I didn’t need to worry when I went out for the day that I had what I needed, lightweight enough that I didn’t get annoyed after walking around all day or start to feel constricted, and packable enough that I could very easily pop it into my purse (tote-sized) or suitcase when I didn’t need it. Can’t recommend their packable puffers enough for travel and also love their basics for everyday use.

The pants and structured wool coats (or similar) are often not cut for someone with wider hips and a narrower waist, but instead for a more straight body type. I’ve ordered and returned a few of these items over the years because they just don’t seem to be made to accommodate bodies like mine. That being said, I’ve only encountered this issue with these specific categories and love the rest of their stuff.
