    Jeni's Splendid Ice Creams

Jeni's really changed the ice cream game and popularized the idea of exploring more interesting ice cream flavors. I've been pleasantly surprised by some of the "weird" flavors I've tried – like Bananas & Honey or Wildberry Lavender. But the"normal" flavors are just as good – I particularly love High Five Candy Bar, Salted Peanut Butter With Chocolate Flecks, and Milkiest Chocolate. The pints are a bit expensive for me to justify as a regular purchase, but I love visiting an actual Jeni's shop now and then for a treat!

    Just keep exploring new flavors!

    Supergoop!

Supergoop makes excellent quality SPFs and I appreciate that they offer so many different options for different skin types, skin tones, etc. The Unseen Sunscreen is excellent and innovative, but wasn't the best for my dry skin. The Glow Screen is also wonderful, but for me it's a bit shiny for everyday use. Because I have acne-prone skin, I've been using the Zitsticka sunscreen for awhile and I'm quite happy with it. My guess is that Supergoop has an option that would work well for me but I don't think they specifically market any of their products as being good for acne-prone skin, so the Zitsticka one is just an easier choice.

Make it easier to compare all of the different SPFs that you offer – why would I choose one over another? Which one would be best for my skin concerns? It should be easier to answer these questions without having to research each product separately.

Amazing quality and fun packaging! The milk chocolate hazelnut is my absolute favorite chocolate bar. I love the different sizes that they offer, and the full size is a great value for the price!

    Scrub Daddy

These just really get the job done. I guess the name and shape are a bit gimmicky, but I can't say anything bad about them. They do a great job of maintaining their "scrubbiness" over time while also holding a decent amount of water/soap. Many sponges with a "scrubby" side just become soft over time, but these don't. They also rinse out really well so that they can be used many times.

I would love to see some variations of the sponge specifically for bathroom cleaning – e.g. a sponge on a long pole for cleaning the shower without breaking my back.

    Magic Spoon

First things first: this is obviously not as good as something like Cinnamon Toast Crunch, Reese's Puffs, etc. But it's also not trying to be! It provides an experience similar to that of eating cereal, but with more protein and less sugar. Some flavors are better than others, so I'd recommend trying a variety pack first. I also recommend adding fruit – bananas and/or blueberries are often good additions – to sweeten it up and make it more of a complete "meal". I'll often add some chia seeds for additional fiber as well, as Magic Spoon actually has less fiber than some conventional cereals. Magic Spoon is also great on top of oatmeal or yogurt, as a less calorie-dense alternative to granola.

Sell more flavors in stores and bring prices down :-) I'd be far more likely to purchase this regularly if it were a bit cheaper and more easily accessible. At almost $10 a box and with only a couple of flavor options in-store, it's a pretty rare purchase for me even though I like it a lot.

For me, this brand doesn't really do enough to justify the pricing. I've tried the body wash and body lotion, and I can't say that either one was any different from a typical product you might find at Target (other than perhaps the scent options). I've heard good things about their deodorant and haircare products, but my experience with the products I've tried hasn't been enough to want to try something else. I think Naturium's body care products offer more interesting options that cover a wider range of skin concerns. I think the packaging and branding is beautiful, and the bottles do look lovely sitting in the bathroom.

At the current prices, many of their products should come in a larger size. I just don't think the formulas are special enough to justify the current pricing at the current sizes.

    Lululemon

I honestly kind of hate to say it because of the pricing, but Lululemon just makes great clothing. Their stuff is well made and always fits in a comfortable but flattering way. I especially like that their women's shirts are often sized as 0-2-4-6-etc. instead of just S, M, L. As someone who is often between a small and a medium, this gives me more options to find the perfect fit. Everything I've purchased from Lululemon has worn really well over time. I still have my first Lululemon purchase – black leggings from about 5 years ago – and they still look and feel great. Their athleisure options are great for working from home – comfortable but with an overall elevated look.

Offer petite sizing! At 5'3", I can generally find leggings at a good length since they come in various lengths. But for pants, it's really hit or miss. This is the number one reason I sometimes shop at Athleta instead.

    Dossier

Whenever I am considering purchasing a perfume, I check Dossier first to see if they have a reasonable dupe. My first Dossier purchase was "Floral Marshmallow", which is inspired by By Kilian's "Love, Don't Be Shy" – at less than 20% of the cost! The bottle isn't anything special, but it's not an eyesore either. It looks right at home on my vanity next to some more expensive fragrances. I appreciate the weightiness of the bottle as well as the magnetic closure. Sometimes, these dupe fragrances can be very short-lived, but I find that my Dossier perfume lasts all day.

    Feedback

Just more options! They have a really solid variety, but it's always a bummer when I'm looking for a particular dupe and they don't offer it. Also, I appreciate the free returns, but would love to be able to order samples.

    Native

I have yet to find a "natural" deodorant that really prevents sweat and odor as well as a more traditional product, and this Native's deodorant is unfortunately no different. Native doesn't claim to be an antiperspirant, so I can't really judge them on that, but I don't find that this does particularly well in preventing odor either. I appreciate the unique scents – I have Ginger Lemonade Cupcake – and for me it does well enough during cooler weather. But I prefer other products during the summer. All that said, they have great scents and I trust them to create good products. I am interested in trying some of the other body care products from them.

I'm not sure if it's possible to make a "natural" antiperspirant, but that's what I would like to see.

    Hero Cosmetics

This is just an excellent brand overall. I’ve tried a few of their products and have yet to be disappointed. The first product I tried was the microdart patches, as an alternative to the (IMO) overpriced Zitsticka patches. The Hero version works just as well for cystic acne at about 60% of the cost (and significantly less packaging!). I then tried the post-blemish rescue balm – incredible if you have dry but acne-prone skin. To be able to use such a thick, nourishing cream without concerns of breaking out is an incredible thing! Finally, the rescue balm with redness correction is probably my favorite product from Hero so far. It starts out green and then slowly blends into the natural tone of my skin. It does a great job cancelling out redness without being detectable as makeup on the skin. I’m not sure how it would work for deeper skin tones, but I know they have another color-correcting cream specifically designed for deeper skin tones. The only thing I’ve tried and didn’t love was the Brave Body shower wash. It was perfectly effective, but the scent kind of reminded me of Axe Body Spray. Overall, I think this brand puts out effective products at reasonable prices, and I love how accessible it is to purchase at stores like Ulta or Target.

    Feedback

I would love to be able to buy a large box of the microdart patches. I know I could just buy multiple boxes, but a box of 24 or so would be amazing in terms of less packaging. It could also be offered at a slight discount compared to 4 boxes of 6 :-)
