I own several pieces of gold plated jewelry from Mejuri - I think the pieces are beautiful, but I do think the price is high for the weight and thickness of the gold plating on a lot of their pieces. Several prices on their website are more reflective of solid gold, but are for plated or vermeil pieces. I have yet to try any of the solid gold options or gemstones from their collections, so that may be a gap in my own experience.

I love the BoySmells candles and have tried several different scents (currently I have Gardener and I also love Poly-amberous). The candles have good longevity and throw, but I do think they’re quite expensive for the size. I haven’t purchased their perfume, but I love the focus on making scent a gender neutral experience.

The bags are incredibly sturdy, and wipe clean easily if you use them for something like a farmers market and end up with produce residue in the bag. I’ve only really used the foldable bags and not their larger/full sized products.

The toothbrushes are nice to use - I did notice buildup inside the grooves between the removable head and the toothbrush body after almost every brushing, and it would look quite gross if you didn’t remove the head and clean it regularly. The subscription options are useful and arrive on time, it’s easy to set it and forget that you have it going until the next one arrives. The reusable floss pick is something I haven’t seen elsewhere and really like!

I tried Little Saint’s mezcal alternative and loved the taste! Very smoky, and similar to the real thing. I don’t notice any difference from the botanicals they add to supposedly enhance your concentration or relaxation, but I also didn’t really expect to. Maybe those effects are meant to be cumulative, or they’re just subtle, but I don’t find that I notice them in other brands products either so I don’t think it’s a failing.

Glossier does some products really well (the old formulation of You, balms, highlight sticks, boy brow) but most of their products can be easily compared to something from another line by now. The quality is decent, but for skincare I’d go to other brands that have similar products at a lower price point.

Nette recently branched into perfume from candles! I tried their sample set - I think the vanilla scent is the most unique, but all 5 were pretty good in their own right, and have interesting notes and decent wear!

Useful, great to keep things in the fridge, but can sometimes open a bit if you throw them in your bag.

The taste is pretty good, and the Fruit flavored one is virtually (to me) indistinguishable from Fruit Loops, though that is obviously up to personal taste. The texture is ok - it has a good crunch for a low-carb food, but it does stick to the teeth some. While I like that it's high in protein, I dislike that it focuses so much on being low sugar. While some sugars may be healthier than others, that doesn't somehow make natural sugars, like the allulose they use, chemically not sugar - it's just not the white sugar (sucrose) we're used to.
