I was so excited to test out the body wash from Bathing Culture and was drawn to their branding and packaging. I unfortunately not only did not like it, but also could not finish it! It had an olive-oily texture on the skin and smelled like a bunch of kitchen oils. I really loved the packaging but the formula was a no for me. It's worth noting that I reached out for a refund, and their customer service team was responsive.

    Feedback

Pros - Packaging - Brand's mission - Eco-friendly - Good customer service - User-friendly website Cons - My experience using the body wash - The smell of the body wash - My skin did not feel clean afterwards - Did not lather well

My dad and I blind taste-tested it and my dad couldn’t tell the difference between Visitor’s NA beer and regular beer! I think it’s a great alternative for people who are calorie conscious or want to drink beer without the buzz. The taste was a bit funky for me.

    Feedback

Pros - Cute packaging - Eco-friendly - Great dupe for alcoholic beer Cons - Funky taste

Super innovative product with cute branding. It not only covers up blemishes and pimples better than any concealer can, but it also makes them look super cute. It’s almost like you want more pimples to put more stickers on your face LOL. I subtracted one star because it does not work as effectively at treating acne and breakouts as competitors like the Mighty Patch do. It’s worth mentioning that the blue stars (the salicylic acid ones) are better than the yellow ones at treating more serious breakouts.

    Feedback

Pros: - Cute aesthetic - Innovative product - Nice branding - Useful travel case - Has a variety of color options and designs Cons: - Not as effective at treating acne as competitor brands

Got this for my best friend and her boyfriend’s anniversary. When I placed the order, I made a mistake with the delivery address and contacted them for customer support. They were super helpful and changed the address based on what I told them. It arrived and the unboxing was a lovely experience. The flower bouquet itself was beautiful as well. My friend was super appreciative. Overall was a good gift but I don’t think I would use this service again, as it is too expensive for what you’re getting — shipping was $25 extra!

    Feedback

Pros: - Good customer service - Aesthetic branding - Nice unboxing experience - Fast shipping time - Complimentary customizable card to write your own message - Instagram-worthy - Well-curated bouquet - Functional website that’s easy to navigate - Good gift Cons: - $25 extra for shipping, so total came to around $90 — expensive for what you’re getting

These work super well and they heal my breakouts so much faster than waiting it out. They also help prevent me from picking at my blemishes. Works better compared to competitors. Such a win

I have been using Thrive Market for a few months now, and I can't say it's worth it. I think there's too many hidden fees that kind of cancel out the mark-down prices. Also, it's important to note that some of the markdowns aren't even that great, like a 5% discount isn't that great. I have summarized the pros and cons in the feedback section, so I won't ramble on anymore, but I will warn with a few more things. 1. I was missing an item with part of my order, and I needed to contact them to get refunded. The customer support was great, but I needed to go out of my way to have a phone call, which was a huge inconvenience for me 2. I had a problem cancelling autopay on two items, on both the app and my laptop, and needed to contact customer service to help me with that, which was also really annoying 3. Some of the items have an order minimum, and I wanted to get marshmallows, but needed to purchase FOUR BAGS of marshmallows, which is actually ridiculous. Now I'm stuck with way too many marshmallows. Overall was not worth it and would not recommend.

Pros: - Packaged extremely well, even with fragile items - Fast delivery time (~2 days) - Good customer service - Good branding and marketing - They have a large database offering popular healthy brands and some niche brands too - Simple user-friendly interface on website and app Cons: - Annual membership fee of $59.95 per year - Order minimums (ranging from 2-4 items needed of the same item) - Free shipping only on orders over $49+ (otherwise costs $5.95 for shipping) - Wine box only has free shipping on orders over $79+ (otherwise costs $13.95 for shipping) - Frozen box has a minimum order amount of $65 - Frozen box only has free shipping on orders over $120+ (otherwise costs $19.95 for shipping) - Some items can only be discounted when placed on Autoship - Their price match guarantee is not worth the extra effort it takes to reach out and tell them about a lower price at a different store - Free gift items with every purchase, but only when order total is over $49

    Fenty Beauty

Fenty Beauty single-handedly changed the beauty industry when they launched and that is a fact. From the octogonal packaging to the 40 foundation shades, Rihanna's execution and vision of her brand was phenomenal. I have been using their Gloss Bomb formula since 2018, and it is still my favorite gloss, from the formula to the packaging to the application. The gloss also gives me a sense of confidence and makes me see myself as beautiful and radiant, which is much easier said than done in this day and age. Although I have only tested out the Gloss Bomb Lip Luminizer (in Fenty Glow, Fuschia Flex, and Glass Slipper), the Gloss Bomb Cream Color Drip Lip Cream (in Fruit Snackz, Cupcakin', and Honey Waffles), and the Gloss Bomb Heat Lip Plumper (in Fenty Glow), I feel as though that is sufficient enough evidence as to why this brand deserves 5 stars. I haven't tried all their products, but I've tried enough to know that.

A few months ago, I was just browsing through Target and came across this new brand of toilet paper that looked completely different from the Charmin Ultrasoft I usually buy. It had cardboard packaging and cool branding. After reading about the brand on the box, I was suckered into buying it and figured I would give it a shot. I expected it to be low-quality, as some eco-friendly products are, but boy, was I wrong. I didn't think this would compete with the Charmin Ultrasoft, but it doesn't even come close, it is considerably better quality. The experience is much more user-friendly, as a major downside to Charmin is that it flakes off, but not with Reel. Reel REELy (haha) changed the game. Pros: - Eco-friendly - High quality - Recyclable packaging - Nice, aesthetic branding - Available in Target and online Cons: - Expensive compared to competing brands (but worth the money in my opinion!)

    Feedback

My only critique is to lower the price to compete better with other brands on the market, and to make toilet paper more affordable.

    Chomps

Up until Thanksgiving 2022, I had been a vegetarian for 4 and 1/2 years. I didn't really like chicken on the bone, it grossed me out. I also didn't like the whole eating animals aspect. I guess I used to enjoy hot dogs and chicken nuggets, but it wasn't worthwhile in my mind, and I gave up eating meat altogether. That was until I was in the checkout line at Trader Joe's. I remember looking at the Chomps near the register and thinking, "wow, I wish I wasn't vegetarian right now so I could try it." Shortly after, I visited my friend to celebrate Friendsgiving with her. It's important to note that at this time, I was struggling with gaining energy during the day and balancing my nutrition as a vegetarian. We were casually chatting, as we always do, and I was telling her about my lack of energy. As a former vegetarian herself, she was talking about how once she reintroduced meat into her diet, she had more energy and felt more nourished. She said I should give it a shot, after all, what do I have to lose? So, I said fuck it. Let's try it. I admitted to her that I was at TJ's the other day, and was eyeing the Chomps, and she actually happened to have some in her apartment. So, I tried it. The first bite was weird, as it naturally would be eating meat after 4 and 1/2 years of not eating meat. I was immediately a fan, though. I enjoyed every bite, and actually began to crave it during the day. This is gonna sound dramatic and you may not believe me, but perhaps the third time or so after eating meat, when I had a Chomps midday after feeling depleted and low energy, I instantly felt a burst of energy and felt more nourished. Crazy, huh? Well, Chomps really does deserve 5 stars because it has truly changed my life. It converted me from a vegetarian to an occasional meat-eater. And if a brand can do that, that is saying a lot. P.S. My friend's husky LOVES Chomps, and whenever I am eating one, he wants one too. Just two besties eating our Chomps LOL. Would highly recommend! Also, please note that this review is for their original beef flavor in the red packaging, as I have yet to try the other flavors.

I guess if they made one with less sodium, that would be ideal.

Love the branding and love the brand’s mission. The only reason why I would give it 4 stars instead of 5 is because the taste is not as good IMO as some other brands of water out there. In theory, I would give this brand a 4.5/5 stars. I like that it’s environmentally friendly too — a major plus, since a big problem with the water industry is plastic waste. Also need to mention that I feel like such a cool human drinking this, since the component itself looks like a beer can!
