    Cocofloss

Cocofloss is cute, but pricey. If you're enthusiastic about dental hygiene you should try it out- it has a more cottony? texture and smells really good. It's fairly easy to refill, although I'm not sure how many people actually choose to go that route.

    Feedback

I received Cocofloss through BirchBox, where it was heavily discounted in a gift set. It's more expensive than standard floss, and it's unclear how beneficial it is for the environment. It's also quite thick and ends up fraying easily. Cocofloss is definitely a different experience from standard drugstore floss- the thicker, fibrous floss might be better for removing plaque, but I think regular floss works just fine.

    Muji

Muji is a great place to revamp your home, or just hang out in a bean bag. It always smells great from the diffusers and has a relaxing aura. The highlight for me is the stationery section. There are usually stamps and paper you can draw on- Muji's .38 pens are also very highly-recommended and come in a variety of colors.

    Feedback

Depending on what you're looking for, Muji can get quite expensive. The stationery and food (marshmallows!) are typical reasonable, as well as some basic storage items that are very sleek.

    Jeni's Splendid Ice Creams

I recently tried Jeni's Brambleberry Crisp ice cream after hearing many good things about the brand. Personally, I thought the base was standard but my friends thought the ice cream was amazing and brought them back to childhood summers.

    Feedback

Jeni's is pretty expensive (usually the most expensive at stores), but I've found it on sale at Whole Foods a few times and it's worth it to try new flavors. However, other comparable high-end brands are still less expensive and may offer something different.

    Knix

I was pleasantly surprised by the underwear I purchased from Knix. I bought them from KT (their teen line), but I think the quality is the same as long as you size up a bit. They're a good replacement for pads, but I would be mindful of their capacity. Also, they're not reusable since you should wash them right away- it's a bit impressive/scary how much blood they hold.

    The Reformation

Reformation's styles and silhouettes are very pretty and reliable. The sizing is very dependent on the style. A lot of it runs quite small, so I would definitely try their clothes on first. The quality is fairly good, but not necessarily incredible or worth the price tag. They are justifiable as investment pieces, but you could definitely find better quality.

    Feedback

The brand is really expensive and brands itself as sustainable. However, I would not purchase based off of that- they've also had a history of toxic leadership. I would only buy it secondhand if possible.

    Bitchin' Sauce

I was recommended Bitchin' Sauce by a friend and opted to try the Cilantro Chili flavor. It wasn't too spicy but had a strong flavor that grew on me and paired well with cauliflower chips, carrots, etc. It can also be used as a salad dressing which I found really convenient.

    Feedback

I would recommend Bitchin' Sauce to anyone looking to try something new! The almonds make it a healthier dip that's reminiscent of higher-end vegan offerings.

    Misfits Market

I was drawn to Misfits Market by their mission and sustainable(?) practices. Factoring in shipping and promotions, it's possible to pay similar prices to the grocery store, but without the trouble of shopping in person. If produce is inaccessible to you, I think Misfits is definitely a viable option.

    Feedback

The selection process is enjoyable and there is a lot of variety. However, the quality is pretty variable, especially since they are delivering produce. There were several occasions on which items were crushed or beyond use e.g., a box of mushy raspberries.

    Sanzo

Sanzo is a welcome addition to the sparkling water/healthy drink category. I love the Asian-inspired flavors as I feel like they are under appreciated and refreshing, and Sanzo executes them as well as possible without added sugar.

    Feedback

I thoroughly enjoyed Sanzo's flavors, notably the Calamansi flavor which is otherwise difficult to find in American grocery stores. The packaging is also very pretty and I look forward to trying more flavors.

    Gwell

I discovered Gwell through Food52's Crunchies awards and was initially drawn in by the packaging. I located them at a nearby wellness store and purchased the pomegranate and white tea bites. A small pack was ~$4 and contained 4 bites which were fairly large. The interiors are similar in texture to a pecan sandie, which I enjoyed. The taste of coconut was noticeable, I had a bit more trouble identifying the pomegranate flavor. The sugar coating on the outside was pleasant though.

    Feedback

The branding is very nice and it's cute to have in your pantry. However, their snacks are fairly expensive. You could easily finish the whole bag, but there are other snacks that are more affordable and come in larger quantity- I would recommend trying Gwell once to see if you can justify the price.

    Aesop

Aesop's soaps provide a luxury experience. The ground up pumice provides a very unique texture that is the standout feature. The scents are also interesting and very "adult".

    Feedback

This is admittedly a higher end brand- the packaging is minimalistic but not unrecognizable, not necessarily a work of art. The scents are more refined and may be too subdued to justify the price tag, compared to generally pleasing fruity or clean scents.
