I bought this for my partner, a soy milk drinker, in the early days of the pandemic -- so we'd have a long-term supply of soy milk that didn't eat up all our storage space -- and because it's much more environmentally friendly than the alternatives. Unfortunately it didn't quite work out for him. I think he used like 1/3 of it, but the texture was just a little grainy and he never really took to the whole process of mixing it himself. I would definitely try it again, though, as in concept I love the idea.

Yes. It's everything everyone says. So unbelievably delicious. I hate to say it's worth it, because in some places it's clocking in at like $14/pint, but it is worth it!

Only giving a 4 because it's so expensive and I wish it were cheaper! But this is absolutely the best shampoo out there if you are committed to preserving the natural oils in your hair and reducing the amount of hair washing you do. I stopped using shampoo with soaps and sulfates in it more than 10y ago and am constantly on a quest for shampoo brands that don't strip the protective oils from your hair. Hairstory is IT. I've been a fan and user since 2015. The texture and smell is incredible. But it's also super effective. Yes, you have to change your hair-washing behavior and your expectations of what a shampoo does and how it should feel (that squeaky feeling is NOT GOOD and you can re-train your senses to separate that feeling from the idea of "clean") and there is definitely an adjustment period (if you are still using soap + sulfate heavy shampoos) but getting to the other side is glorious! Soft, shiny hair with body, protected from damage, that only needs to be washed 1-2 times a week.

I have tried oh-so-many skincare products attempting to address what is a mild case of adult acne. This is the first product I've used that actually truly seemed to calm my skin vs exacerbating things. I've used the makeup remover, face wash, and acne gel for about 4 months now, and within a matter of weeks, everything has calmed down and I noticed a true reduction in the amount of spots and overall inflammation. In fact, I only use the gel once or twice a week now, and the spots have stayed away, so I think that no longer washing my face with harsh soaps and acids has made all the difference in the world. I am totally bought into the science behind the microbiome, and the importance of "good bacteria" on your skin. I was first intro'd to that idea through the Mother Dirt product line. And here it's been expanded and advanced upon. Huge fan of this brand for its efficacy! In fact, gonna go re-order right now. (And, have to say, definitely less expensive than I would have expected!)

One of the only new-wave canned beverages that I continued to buy after first-try. Love this stuff! Really hits the spot when you're craving something bubbly that still has light flavor. Though I am not a green tea fan when it comes to the real thing, the Pineapple Passionfruit and the Lime Hibiscus are my two favs, and the ones I always re-buy. I also love the look & textural feel of whatever the can is wrapped in itself. Very modern and pleasant to hold in the hand. (Bought on-shelf at the Park Slope Food Coop, the best grocery store in the USA.)

I've tried a lot of canned cocktails, and these are up there at the very top. (Most are super bad, sorry to say) Real juice makes all the difference! Haven't had the new Espresso Martini, but loved (in order) the Mai Tai, the Old Fashioned, the Margarita, & the Vodka Gimlet. A little less into the Daiquiri. Pour one of these over ice and add your own fresh garnish and for the average imbiber, these could definitely pass for a just-mixed cocktail.

    Italic

I loved the idea behind Italic when I first read about it and hopped on a membership in early 2021. I ordered several things across categories and the quality experience really varied. The best: towels, men's t-shirts, glassware. The worst: women's & men's athleisure. So I had a better experience in home goods than I did with clothing. That left me too much of a skeptic to try out their more spendy cashmere or leather items (though in theory I love the idea of them)! I also find the actual cuts and design sensibility of their fashion lines very basic & uninspired. Like not-quite-Uniqlo style-wise (and I definitely don't think of Uniqlo as the gold standard), though better quality. Kind of feels like sacrificing style for quality, which means it's not a go-to site for me because everything is OK but nothing is like, desireable. But for housewares, I'm a solid yes. My towels from Italic are still fluffy and luxurious 18 months later.

I ordered the sampler pack and thought it was actually exceptionally delicious and totally worth the price. Also loved the size of the cans themselves. Excellent on their own and also mixed with spirits. My 2 favs: Jalapeno & Blood Orange and Hibiscus & Pomegranate. The sweet/sour/bubbly balance is perfectly fine-tuned, and I like that they use real sugar, vs. something artificial. High fives all around.

I bought Ghia when it first came on the scene way back when. I wanted to love it! But I just did not. I adore aperitifs and bitter drinks in general, but this ended up being just TOO bitter for my taste. The packaging and everything was on point and I love the overall vibe, but it is not the one for me. I would love to try their canned product, though!

    Feedback

I purchased a couple years ago, and it was the summer months, and the cork started uncorking itself during shipment. Though I realize it's a known problem for lots of beverages that bottle with cork, that combined with the "sediment" look and feel of what flavors the product, made the initial experience a bit unappetizing. Hope that's been solved!

A small chunk of Tony's is truly the perfect end-of-day treat. I used to buy a large Dark Almond Sea Salt every week and eat it one little chunk at a time. Now I live in a place where the stores don't carry that flavor (and they're more expensive), and while I like the other flavors a lot, they don't hit the spot for me the way that green bar does. But still, love you forever Tony's Chocolonely.
