Rothy's
Experience
Love the concept and the look of these shoes. Mine are super comfortable and I've had them for a few years now. They fit well and are easy to maintain being washable. I'd recommend switching out the insole to a breathable leather version though and their original insole is not breathable at all!
Feedback
I know a knitted insole looks cool but a leather insole made it so much more bearable.
Rains
Experience
I've had my Rains bag for a while now and I love the design and concept, but unfortunately it's not the most practical. My bag has gaping holes on the side that don't sit flat when you've got something heavier than a bottle in there which is a trap for rainwater (quite ironic) and the straps are uncomfortable to wear for long periods or if you have a laptop and some gear in there. My strap actually broke off as the stitching wasn't strong enough, but after a bit of handiwork it's got a bit more life left in it.
Feedback
I feel like the sacrificed functionality and comfort for simplicity and minimal design.
Seedlip
Experience
Love the product and design. I've only ever had it mixed in non-alcoholic cocktails and it's very similar to gin. Definitely scratches the itch of wanting a nice drink without the alcohol content! (because sometimes you need that)
Skin + Me
Experience
Really straight-forward customer journey and love the attention to detail they have on packaging by plastering your name everywhere (who doesn't love seeing their own name on a product!?) The aluminium tube is super cool and fun to use. Great, easy way to get access to medical-grade ingredients.
Feedback
They don't give you a choice of what prescription you're after and there's not much indication of what prescription to expect. I'd like to see more transparency and flexibility on that journey.
Callaly
Experience
Love the design and concept of reinventing the tampon, but unfortunately the product has completely missed the mark for me. Their tampliner is uncomfortable to wear but then again, I'm just not their demographic as I never had a need for this sort of product to begin with.
Feedback
Better communication of how to use this novel product. A bit overpriced for what it is.
smol
Experience
Love the brand and the product! Really simple to use and like how delivery is tailored to your use. Laundry smells amazing after use too!
Patch
Experience
Really great brand and online experience. Plants are beautiful, but products are overpriced compared to local nurseries.
Feedback
I think the price point is a bit out of touch with local sellers. I'd rather support my local nursery instead (and save a chunk of moolah too!)
Bloom & Wild
Experience
Love the customer touchpoints of this brand and the product is great! I actually liked that the flowers that arrived were pre-bloom as it was so much nicer to look forward to changes in the bouquet every day.
Feedback
Nothing much really! Love the little flower guide and letterbox flowers brighten everyone's day.
Planera
Experience
I want to love this product. I really do! It ticks all the boxes of being a sustainable brand tackling a huge problem, but unfortunately the pads I tested in their first trials were thick and uncomfortable and the formulation of the glue melted into my underwear. It was not a pleasant experience.
Feedback
The product still has a while to go before being customer friendly and a fair replacement for existing products. Also the price point at £7 for 15 pads is just extortionate.
Tony's Chocolonely
Experience
Love the concept behind the brand and happy to pay the premium for slavery-free chocolate. The milk chocolate is great - very rich and creamy but found the salted caramel a bit too salty for my liking (not sure if I got a bad batch?). I think the way the block is shaped is quite innovative and helps shape the brand's story (although it's not so practical and can be a pain to break off small bits).
Feedback
More practical chocolate piece sizes would make it a much more enjoyable experience.
