I own Dorai’s bath stone and it beats all the bath rugs out there. I always felt icky about bath rugs and mats that just seemed damp most of the time, so this product is a real treat. Not uonly is it fascinating to see it absorb and dry out all moisture right in front of you, it’s easy to clean and feels clean/cool to use.

I've listened to a few podcast episodes with Melanie Masarin (founder of Ghia, and my girl crush), and through these, I got a pretty holistic picture of why Ghia came into existence, the intention and message of the brand, and why it's the future of drinking. As a sucker for good branding, and even more so for brands that have that relaxed, Mediterranean, natural yet refined personality, Ghia is a personal favorite. Not only do I love the taste of their products (I do have yet to try their new Ghianduja), but I love love the routine that involves me sipping a can of Le Spritz while cooking dinner.

Even though I'm probably one out of ten people in NYC who either wears or have worn Santal 33 from Le Labo at least once in their lifetime, I'm actually proud of it. Because it's of quality. Le Labo built this super luxurious fragrance brand that literally keeps people coming back for more. My best friend is on her fourth Santal 33 bottle. Or fifth. But as for me, I'm sticking to my Baccarat Rouge 540.

I have four of these bags in different sizes and I simply love them. Yes there are a number of moments when I want to reach for my single use Ziploc's, but then I see my Stashers and am reminded that I bought these for a reason — to have the option of being more environmentally conscious, and washing it out isn't even that hard. And plus, they're so secure!

Started with Billie's Razor Starter Kit, and 1.5 years later, I'm still subscribed. That should say something, right? I choose to stay subscribed because of three reasons: 1) their mission (bye bye pink tax) 2) their branding and packaging (from their website to the simplicity of the razor, everything's just so nice and consistent) 3) the economics ($10 for 4 razors, which I go through pretty sparingly is a great deal in my books). But something's got to give and in this case, it's the effectiveness of the product. My razor does it's job, but isn't going to give me the cleanest and sharpest shave I'd want. Oh well!

As a marketer, I respect and admire Glossier's successful branding + marketing efforts. But as a consumer, it's all very underwhelming. At least for the products I've used (Super Pure, Priming Moisturizer, Generation G, and Lidstar). The products themselves don't seem to have that impressive factor, but somehow their strong brand identity makes it all forgiveable?

Ok, hands down my favorite seltzer brand — mainly because of the Yuzu flavor. I was drawn to the packaging/design of these drinks from Pop Up Grocer's Williamsburg location last year, not expecting much but was far from underwhelmed. As a huge carbonated drinks lover, I've been in the search for the perfect seltzer that achieved a balance between its sweetness level, carbonation (that "ahhh" factor), and flavor. Something & Nothing has the best mix of these three.

I do wish I can easily find these in stores, rather than having to order online (but I'm sure this is a WIP ;) )

Several months back, I bought two plastic free deodorants (Lilac & White Tea for me, Charcoal for my husband) along with their shampoo. The shampoo was great (I don't expect much from shampoos in general, but this one made my hair/scalp feel squeaky clean and smelled good), but the deodorant didn't sweep me off my feet. It felt great using something that was plastic-free, but the product itself wasn't so effective. I used this nearly everyday during the summer, but sweat through anyway (and I promise I don't even sweat a lot!). So you can find me looking for a sustainable deodorant that does its job well!

I've been using the entire Clean Suite (hand soap, dishwasher detergent, laundry detergent, multi-surface cleaner, etc. included) on pretty much a daily basis and it frankly makes me embarrassed to think about all the single-use plastic packaging I went through with all my cleaning products pre-Blueland. My only concern in the beginning was the effectiveness of the products ("they don't seem "strong" enough") but they clearly get the job done, and in a more natural/safe way. Shopping for refills has become an exciting thing, and the plastic-free packaging + reasonable prices makes it make sense. Huge, huge fan!!

I have the Buffy Cloud, Breeze, and two Cloud pillows. So it's safe to say that I'm a fan. Buffy is a brand that has mastered both the practice of sustainability and art of comfort. I refuse to sleep under anything outside of my comforters that really feel like the best hug after a long day. The materials for these products really feel so smooth and soft, even after many washes.
