I confess that I tried this out because the packaging is appealing and I saw it enough times on Instagram. At first it worked quite well for me (particularly the retinol serum) and the price is good. After several months of use, I developed awful bumps at my hairline that I thought were millia. I discontinued everything, went to my derm, and have started up a very pared down routine. Thankfully the bumps went away so I don't know for sure what caused them. If I had to guess, I'd say the moisturizers. There wasn't much variety and both seemed quite heavy for my acne-prone skin. Overall, the packaging is nice and it's worth a shot if there's an ingredient you know for sure works well for you.

Even the "purifying" moisturizer was too heavy for my skin, especially in the summer months.

    Floyd

I upgraded my very basic bedframe situation with a Floyd bed and headboard several years ago and I absolutely love it. This past year I added underbed storage drawers to make it even more functional. The design is lovely and minimalist and the bed has been rock solid thus far. I balked a little at the price of the storage drawers but, IMO, they're worth it for keeping items in check. Because of the bed's low profile, anything that happens to slide to the geographic center of the underbed area is a real pain in the butt to retrieve (shoutout to my cats for their cartography skills in pushing things right to that area). I paid for everything using Affirm, which may have some old-school financial responsibility types squirming. I paid in the set amount of time and accrued no interest.

    Feedback

While I did manage to put the bed together on my own, another set of hands would probably have been ideal. The slabs are HEAVY and it can be a little tricky to keep the tension strap in the right place while tightening it at the same time. Not a dealbreaker by any means!

As others have said, the design here is top notch. These bottles LOOK great. I got a variety sampler and found the actual drinking experience lacking. They tasted anemic; lacked the complexity that I'd be hoping for in an aperitif.

    Feedback

The cocktail "recipes" mainly seemed to be: drink it on the rocks, drink it with a little soda water.

I got this just in time to take it on a trip to rural, coastal Georgia. Like to use face-specific sunscreen on my face because some others have a tendency to run into my eyes and basically ruin my entire day with stinging until I can give my peepers a good flush. Prior to this I had a bottle of Soleil Toujours setting spray with SPF and I think this worked better in terms of sun protection (the ST also has something astringent in it that would sometimes sting). This has an odor that, to me, smelled somewhat herbal. I like it, but it may not to be everyone's taste. It also has a definite oiliness on the face. Some may say it's dewy, but for others maybe too much. I have naturally oily skin and it was right on the line for me. On the beach I didn't care and I wasn't wearing makeup. I've used it prior to putting on makeup in the morning and think it makes everything slide into place nicely, but I wouldn't reapply over makeup for that reason. Overall I liked it and will buy it again, but I'll need to see how it fits into my non-vacation life.

    Feedback

The spray seems anemic sometimes. Hard to tell how much is coming out and how much you're using.

Like a lot of others I went through a "working on my skin" pandemic phase and Atolla played a small part. The packaging is beautiful and the product they sent me smelled lovely, but didn't really do anything. I didn't stick with it long enough to do the pH testing part, so maybe it would have gotten better? Cancellation was a breeze.

I'd finally listened to enough podcasts to give Public Goods a try. Mostly find that I like their cleaning products the best (the giant dish soap refills are a constant at my house). Didn't care for the vegetable bullion and I'm waiting out the end of the dental floss. As others have said, they add new products quite frequently. They also recently added a "surplus" section if you're like me and you like a little discount on your discount. Their customer service is top notch and extremely responsive.

Would love to see more pet products added.

I absolutely love the idea of a reusable lip capsule and I have a BIT of a tinted lip balm problem -- always looking for my HG in terms of color, pigmentation, and texture. I LOVE everything about the colors I picked (coral and berry). You get to pick two samples with each order, which is a great way to try out other shades and products you might be a little unsure of. Look forward to what other types of products this brand might introduce.

    Feedback

Not a huge fan of the blushes I sampled. The colors were quite harsh and the overall texture on my skin seemed too chalky and matte.

I was having the weirdest skin freakout and decided to give Curology a try based on a few acquaintance recommendations. The dermatologist they connected me with was super helpful and even excluded one of the active ingredients since I already had a prescription using it as a spot treatment and didn't want to go overboard (I've since added it into my formulation because the topical cream contains peroxide, which bleaches my sheets). A pared down routine plus the prescription has cleared up everything! No regrets. Even some pores that I just considered perpetually clogged are clear most of the time.

    Feedback

I don't LOVE having to take and upload selfies, but I can understand why it's suggested. When I wanted to tweak my formula I noticed a message that seemed to suggest you only get so many free messaging chances with your doc. There doesn't seem to be anything about it on the site though, so I wish that were disclosed more transparently.

Truly question this brand's definition of "busty," which tops out at at DDD. I also question my own judgement in buying bras from them more than once thinking that maybe this time the "busty" bralette will work for me. Their branding and aesthetic is spot on and I'm a sucker I guess. The bras fit okay to start but quickly leave me feeling unsupported as the material stretches. I'm a 32DDD and bought the size recommended by the size guide but the cups are really too small. Sizing up would make the band even less supportive overall. The straps are relatively narrow and have a tendency to dig in.

    Feedback

More specific sizing (i.e., actual band and cup sizes), wider straps on the busty sizes to help distribute weight, offer more styles in the busty sizes.

Prefacing this with the fact that I know skincare results vary wildly person to person. Due to not enough SPF in my youth I've been looking for something to fade some sunspots popping out. Really wanted Faded to be the "it" product for me, but sadly it wasn't. Like so many other things I've tried (a bunch of vitamin C serums and Ambi Fade Cream), my spots remained stubbornly unmoved. The packaging is super cute, I love the brand's story, and I love that they started with a small line that they can expand without overextending.
