My razor is black and the finish has chipped away in places but it's not a huge deal. I guess I covered the helpful info - start with a light touch and take it slow at first!

The leaf razor is high quality and heavy which feels better than any plastic option. Took a little getting used to - I definitely hacked my legs up a bit with fresh blades at first but once you know you don't have to use the pressure of plastic razor things get much easier and the shave is much closer. The blades are simple to change out and it's a product I feel good about using. The price is initially high but this thing will last forever vs a lifetime of plastic waste. I've just become very diligent about not leaving it on any trips b/c of the investment! It's the perfect option for people who want to be a bit more sustainable but can't commit to a straight razor, the pivoting head really bridges the gap and makes for a pretty seamless transition. Big fan.

Great quality and easy assembly. I will recommend this to anyone who needs a dermaplaner. 

I don't think anything needs to change, just make sure you read the care instructions and don't leave them in the shower because they will build limescale.

I got the dermablade from a thingdrop but already had the razor and I love them both. I bought the razor for me and my husband about 2 or 3 years ago and bought 50 razors with them and I haven't paid for any refills or new razors since. We still have plenty of blades to go, and everything works perfectly. I was a little afraid of it in the beginning since I had never used a razor like this, but as long as I exfoliate before I shave I have no issues with bumps, cuts or anything. It is pricey in the beginning, but I would have spent way more than that buy now if I was still using the disposable razors like before. And the derma lady is fantastic! 

I've been wanting to try the razor from Leaf so when I got the dermaplaner on a deal I was excited to try the brand. It definitely lived up to my expectations and made me want to go all in on the razor now.

The materials seem top-notch, like this thing will last until after I'm dead. The blade is sharp and moves across my skin smoothly but I don't feel like I'll get cut at all. I think this is a major upgrade over a plastic dermaplaner or anything like that and should hopefully save money in the long term!

I feel like the head is pretty wide? It was difficult to get the blade to glide ~just right~ because the metal head would hit my skin first, leaving a gap between my face and the actual blade. 

Could just be a technique thing though!

I got the dermaplane razor during their Thingdrop and it was pretty okay!

I've never dermaplaned before and putting the blade guard + actual blade in was actually pretty nerve-wracking. It was difficult to lock it in and I ended up having to sterilize it multiple times because it kept falling out. 

Once it was ready, the razor was really easy to use! It glided nicely, and seeing all the dead skin scraped off was fun. I went right in with my usual nighttime skincare routine afterward and my skin looked and felt ~so smooth~ the next morning. I also felt some mild sensitivity for a few days, so I wouldn't do it more than once every 1.5 weeks. 



The only thing I did not like is that it didn't come with a cover. Since the blade is really sharp, I think it's unsafe to not provide customers with a safety cover. Instead, it's an additional charge of $9 (which wasn't offered on Thingtesting). 

I hadn't heard of this brand before but was pleasantly surprised. I'm receiving laser hair removal treatments, but need to shave occasionally. So discovering a plastic-free, zero-waste dermaplaner was perfect. I love that it removes the fuzz while exfoliating my skin and removes dead skin cells.  The shave is so close, which is something you can’t get with other cheap dermaplaners.

It also comes with recyclable refills and plastic-free packaging; and the company says the product is an 'Accessible Luxury' because the refills cost 1/8 less than other high-end refills––which is amazing in my book. 

The micro blade is sleek and very sturdy. Definitely worth the price. You are able to decrease the amount of disposable plastic items in your daily use. Very easy to use, but slightly tricky to clean because of the blade

I don't have too much to say! It works really nicely. It's ostensibly a straight razor with some guardrails to keep you from cutting yourself, but overall works well to remove some of the fine hairs on my face.

Quick shipping and the product feels really nice in your hands. It's quite heavy which I like, but maybe for some people that's a bad thing. Unboxing it was striaghtforward and the blade is easy to use

I really like the product. The quality is 10/10. I was a little confused how to assemble it as first but then got figured it out within about 5 minutes.
