Honey Mama's exists to bring delight to the world through nourishing your body, mind, and spirit. Founder Christy Goldsby wanted to promote wellness and vitality through blissfully indulgent treats, thus the creation of the refrigerated Truffle Bar. Combining organic raw honey, coconut oil, cocoa powder and other whole food ingredients created the most decadent melt-in-your-mouth fudge-like treats without the gluten, dairy, refined sugar or preservatives.

Honey Mama's has been a mixed bag for me. I do recommend them for a fun, sweet treat every now and again. The simplicity in ingredients is delightful, although I would not recommend coconut oil for "healthier" chocolate (which is in all of their chocolates). I love Oregon Mint, Coffee Nib Crunch. The lavender rose was way too floral for me (and I'm someone who typically loves a floral taste). 

The issues with the product usually come down to price- and the consistency of the product. A few times, the item I've purchased has melted and got into a weird, misshapen form. 

I have a love hate relationship with Honey Mamas. I used to absolutely obsess over these when I was visiting family in the states, then I ate a few too many and got kind of sick of them. I think i need them in moderation. I tend to prefer the chocolate-ey ones over other flavours. I did also try a smaller skinnier variant recently in a chocolate flavour that was SO good, but then I had a cinnamon flavoured one that was pretty bad. Hit or miss for me, but they are good quality and a unique product, and I'll still buy them from time to time.

The taste of these bars outdoes any bar I've had.  I will say I am prejudiced against "food bars." I do not like them. While understanding sometimes a quick bite is necessary. Our lives are busy and sometimes one needs something quick and easy to maintain energy until a meal can be prepared. This is it for me. 

Honey Mamas Lavender Rose truffle bar is so cute and delicious! I love that it’s gluten free, dairy free and soy free. The packaging is adorable! I see these in the refrigerated section in the stores all the time so I’m glad I finally tried it. If you leave it at room temp it tastes like fudge. It’s really decadent and addicting!

One of the best chocolates I have ever tried.

I love the idea of Honey Mama's with its whole, clean ingredients, but honestly every bar I've tried from them has kind of fell flat. There's something about the texture (it's hard but also melts quickly), that I am just not a huge fan of. They do have a stunning variety of flavors though and I like their dedication to whole food ingredients.

These little honey treats are such high-quality honey. I love that they use natural high-quality aspects and the flavor of the honey is just so good and so sweet. I love having these when I feel like a sickness is coming on as well

The textures are incredibly rich and smooth, and each bite melts in your mouth. Whether it’s their chocolate bars or other indulgent options, the flavors are deep and satisfying, but never too sweet. They strike the perfect balance, and I love knowing that I’m treating myself with something that’s both nourishing and delicious.

Sweet tooth alert! But I'm also serious about what I put in my body, which makes finding truly good, lower-sugar treats a challenge. Enter Honey Mama's – a game changer! The quality of ingredients is fantastic, and the lower sugar content is a huge plus. It's still a treat, so I savor every bite (even if it means it's not the cheapest). The taste is incredible – so authentic – and the brownie-like texture is just perfect. I'm a total convert and already telling everyone I know. 

The lavender flavor one was yummy. The texture is a bit too soft.

I love Honey Mama's chocolate bars! They are so rich and indulgent and come in a variety of innovative flavors. They use simple and organic ingredients and the taste is fresh and clean. The chocolate bars are rich and dense and a tasty treat anytime!

I am obsessed with this brand the chocolate lavender flavor is so good it pains me I can’t see it and go without buying it. It’s so rich and flavorful and silky and delicious I love it so much. The other flavors are just as good too!

The combination of rose petals and coconut oil makes this one hella unique treat. I've always loved a sweet and salty combo and this delivers in spades. It stays chill enough to keep in your bag for a couple hours but it's best to consume immediately after taking it out of the fridge.

I like the unique flavor of these truffles. I like that it is dairy free, but the texture is a little strange because of that. It’s kind of chalky tasting and the flavors do not mesh well together. I also do not like that I must refrigerate it.

You guys.. these chocolates are IT. They are so good. Best flavor, best for your health. My favorite flavor is chocolate cake! Its so rich but yet subtle. Delicious! Every time I get some I want more and more!

I've tried some of the Honey Mama's chocolates and enjoyed them. I'm impressed by all the innovative and fun flavors they have to offer, I also liked that their products are made using great ingredients, 

I’ve liked the honey mamas chocolates for a while already but recently tried their new protein crunch bar and it was SOO good. Especially chilled or frozen. 8g of protein is nice for a little treat, perfect dessert or mid day snack

I liked Honey Mama for about a year after giving birth to my son. I think the ingredients are perfect and during postpartum this was one of the main items I craved for MONTHS. The flavor is light, with a mild chocolate flavor. The price is pretty high though. After not consuming the bars for awhile I did notice the honey flavor tasted sour. I don't think I'd purchase them again sadly. 

The shipment itself was confusing and a tad wasteful. Yes, it was refrigerated. Bonus! But to send a package of dry ice that's lightly covered by thin, unsealed plastic is begging for a burn on someone's hands. It was also an enormous box filled with foam and other misc. materials to keep it cold. There has got to be a better way.

This won't be a repeat buy for me, unfortunately!

I keep thinking I may have gotten a different product because I found these bars to be saccharine-sweet. I couldn't eat it. The flavor profile is great and the chocolate is rich and thick. But it's not quite a chocolate bar. It's almost like a really thick, frozen, pureed granola bar. As an aside, I think the packaging of the chocolate bars itself is beautiful.
