tried the fly by jing collab - so good, and love what the company stands for

10/10 for pretty packaging but I really couldn't tell the difference in quality of the product inside to justify the high price. 

As i expected, this tinned fish is absolutely next level. The smoked rainbow trout is incredible, amazing texture, and if you are new to the world of boujie tinned fish, this will indeed surprise you. I have a couple other tins I am saving for the right moment but each one ive tried has been amazing. I cant remember what kind of fish it was but a while back I had one that had Fly by Jing chili oil in it and it was incredible. I love tinned fish <3 and I love fishwife! Great company with quality and ethically sourced fish, and cute packaging!

Recently tried the smoked salmon Fly by Jing collab (picked it up on sale at a local grocery store) and it was SO good. I really want to try more varieties and their packaging is SO cute I had to save it. I wish it was a little cheaper but I understand why they price it the way they do since it's ethically-sourced, etc. Can't wait to try more! 

Love the packaging and their collaborations. Their holiday sets are a hit. If you’re just into tin fish, go to any aisle in an Asian market and you’ll find cheaper options.

All the Fishwife varieties I've tried have tasted lovely. The packaging is whimsical and funky, leading their tins to stand out amongst an otherwise dull tinned fish grocery store aisle. I think these would work great in a gift basket for any foodie.

Obviously the packaging and branding is A1, but as cute as that is, the price point is way too high to see myself as a repeat customer. I bought a little bit of everything for my husband to try and his comments were “that one brand from MOM is still better. (Raincoast) 

I tried the smoked tuna myself and wasn’t really feeling it. It was such a tiny amount and I didn't like the smoke flavor. That’s my personal preference, so if you’re a smoky person it may be wonderful. 

It almost seems like they’re a graphic design house that stumbled upon fish, instead of the other way around. 

I had the mackerel and it was worth the hype!

These tinned fish are soooo good! I bought the 2023 Big Fish Pack so I could try a bunch of different flavors. The fish holds up over time and tastes so premium. The one thing I'll add is that it's pretty expensive for tinned fish, and there are still great brands at my local grocery store that I would purchase for more regular tinned fish consumption. This is a great special occasion snack! 

some of the best tin fish i've had! very much a splurge, the cost is a lot for what you get. cute packaging though.
