The Buffer Jelly and Super Saturated serums are particularly praised for their hydration qualities and the ability to leave the skin soft and plump. Hi Forest! Let me know if I read this right but it sounds like you might have a refill of Super Saturated. Super Saturated always comes with a pump and cap unless you buy a refill. Refills require you to reuse your empty bottle's pump and cap– this reduces plastic waste. Softwear is the star of the brand! Barrier jelly feels good but I don't like the bottle because it's not very disability friendly. It's difficult to squeeze and gets a bit too oily for sustainable use! (AKA it's hard to open and control and squeeze out the proper portion-- would like a pump mechanism like the Super Saturated!)

Enjoying this brand a lot. Got one of almost everything thanks to a black friday sale. The mask is so cool and innovative. Super Saturated is nice and feels like it is working - I use at night, I think it might be a weird texture during the day. The real winner is softwear. I hope they come out with tinted versions in the future, but love the current scent free/tint free as a good basic lip balm. Love the fact they are science focused and coming out with truly innovative products!

Was able to try this thanks to a Thingdrop (ily Thingtesting) and i am so impressed. I got a "small head" mask and it fits perfect, doesn't hurt my ears nor does it slide down like flimsy disposable masks!! AND you can use it with any moisturizing product you want. Love the alien look too - adds some excitement to putting on ur basic moisturizer during the colder months. 

This mask cannot be used with actives. It would be nice if that were an option, but I’m guessing it would degrade the quality of the mask.

I love this mask! It is so nice to have a reusable mask option instead of generating waste with single-use sheet masks. I like the flexibility this mask offers by allowing me to choose my own products and get even more benefit from them. The mask is comfortable to wear and easy to clean. I got a size Large and it fits pretty well - a little loose around the mouth, but snug in other areas and comfortable on the ears. I am tall with a longer/oval face, for reference. 

I don't love the color. Everything else was great! 

The mask fits and feels great. It sits comfortably and doesn't pull on the ears. I was able to sit and work with the mask on which is a bonus. Using a disposable sheet mask means you have to lay semi-reclined the whole time and they usually don't fit very well. This was an awesome fit and I love that it's reusable. 

This reusable silicone face mask from Experiment is brilliant! I really enjoy being able to use my own serum and not having the waste of a traditional single use sheet mask. The product is innovative and I love the brand's mission- "to make beauty worth thinking about, but not stressing about." 

Bravo for thinking about the planet when creating this (very fun) new product! 

I know the bag it came in is resealable, but I wish it came with some sort of carrying case similar to that of the Dieux eye mask. Just a thought!

This mask is just so fun! Like you can't help but laugh, the vibes are just that good when I'm wearing it. I appreciate the ear loops and two sizes (I got small 🥺👉👈).

It’s great being able to use my own products, but a little guidance on whether a serum or moisturizer is best to go underneath would be helpful. I’d also be willing to purchase a product to use with the mask directly from Experiment should they ever create one. 

Finally a company that cares about my forehead and chin!

As a 6’4” guy, most sheet masks come short of my forehead and chin. That being said, they deserve to get love and look good, too. Thankfully, the bigger size of this reusable mask has my whole face covered. (Literally)

It’s so convenient you can pop them on over your favorite products, I’d definitely recommend really lathering whatever you’re applying to go underneath. The ear straps are also clutch, I love going about my tasks knowing my skin is at the spa. Looking like an alien is just an added bonus. (Just remember to remove before that next zoom call lol)

Super easy to clean and reuse time and time again. Such a great gift, too! 

I wish it came with a serum and something cool to dry it on.

I hate how much I love this product. It just works!

I love that you can pair it with any serum. (I use Supernal Cosmic Glow with mine.) It's gives your serum superpowers! This is the only product I have changed in my minimal skincare routine and people are constantly telling me I'm glowing. (And yes, I'm eating every moment of that up.)

I initially thought the reusable design would be gross and messy in theory. It's actually so easy to clean. The serum comes off right away and it's fresh and clean for every use.

I walk to Starbucks in this every morning when I get my coffee. $19 for this much attention is a steal! Every time I wear my mask the cost per use keeps going down which is a wild thought. Best value I've had in any skincare product. Highly recommend to anyone who's looking for that extra boost in their skincare routine.

The mask doesn’t fully sit on my face. I have some gapping around my chin and nose. 

I really liked this mask! I like that I can use it with products I already have and make them work better for my skin. I notice the most difference when I use this with hydrating products. It helps my skin really drink them all in. Also love that it’s reusable so I’m not continuously using single use masks. 

Wear it anywhere you want to get strange looks😅. I always used it on flights because the recycled air makes my skin freakout and I scared a flight attendant once. 

As someone who considers themselves a lover of K-Beauty and J-Beauty, I have tried my fair share of sheet masks so I was really excited for the idea of a reusable mask. 

I have acne-prone skin so using techniques like slugging is always the best option for my skin to create an occlusive barrier to lock in moisture when my skin is feeling dehydrated. This does a great job at helping my products sink in and wearing it gives me a reminder to slow down and focus on some self care.

The other bonus of this vs. regular sheet masks is that it's easier to drink and eat with them on and you don't have to worry about the mask juices getting in your mouth.

I wear the size small and it fits my face perfectly. I feel like I have a pretty average sized face.

Truly the best hydrating serum I’ve ever used. Skin looks and feels quenched, and soothed. The mask is the icing on the cake, providing an occlusive barrier to help everything absorb better.

Update: I’ve now tried the buffer jelly as well. When I’m feeling especially dry/flaky/ dehydrated I’ll top my moisturizer with the buffer jelly in the evening and wake up with soft, hydrated skin. I can’t slug with fully occlusive products because I’ll break out, but buffer jelly lets me get the benefits without the acne. 

Do not hesitate, purchase and get some backups while you’re at it.

Wow, this brand came in like a hurricane! Both Super Saturated and Buffer Jelly have become staples in my routine. Just when I thought I had become bored of skincare, this brand came in & really made me excited again. Such a beautiful brand to look at & I truly admire the aesthetic and amazing formulations. I’m in love!

I will start by saying that this is a really small bottle of product for the price point. But I’m still giving it 5 stars because this little bottle really packs a punch! I’ve only been using this for a week, and my skin has noticeably healed up from my recent seasonal eczema breakout. The skin around my mouth has been dry and cracked to the point of pain, even though I’ve been moisturizing and using Aquaphor as I usually do when I get eczema flareups. But after using Buffer Jelly, I could tell my skin was loving it and would calm down after a nice layer of this at night. The cracking and inflammation is practically gone. Please know that in layered this product with my ointment, so I’m pretty sure this just helped seal it all in more comfortably than a bunch of Vaseline or Aquaphor. I prefer this jelly to traditional slugging cause I really hate feeling sticky! I’m not sure if this is something to recommend to all users with eczema, but I’d love to hear more testimonials.

I received the Experiment Jelly Buffer as a Thingdrop. It is a pleasant product and addition to your skin care routine as a last step. I do like that the formula is like a mix between gel and oil. It is fast absorbing and leaves a hydrating feeling. Again, this is a good product if you do not already have something like it in your routine. I will continue to use it and would even repurchase as it did not cause any irritation to my skin barrier.

I honestly tried and got a bit addicted to their reusable face mask. I use my own face routine but this sheet is amazing to really lockdown treatment drops or serums. The one size fits all is actually real. I'm 35 years old and made my 16 year old niece and her best friend do the same because our faces have different sizes and shapes. Totally worth it.

What a great concept! I love how you can pair any hydrating mask, serum, or moisturizer with it making it compatible with things I already have. I greatly appreciate how it stays on your face with the ear loops (unlike traditional sheet masks) so that I can multitask and move around while masking. 


I've tried using the Buffer Jelly in two ways: first, by mixing it with my moisturizer to give it a boost, and secondly, as the last layer of my skincare routine. 

It has an interesting texture for sure, kinda like a thick oil. I didn't really like how it felt on its own but loved mixing it in my moisturizer, I think it really absorbed into my skin better this way! I have VERY combination skin with eczema on my cheeks, and an oily t-zone. It was too heavy for my forehead and nose but after a few nights it did minimize my dry patches. I'm interested to see how it performs in the winter when my skin needs hydration the most!

A little goes a longgg way and I wish the bottle was a bit easier to squeeze, I always squeeze out too much. Overall I've never tried a skincare product quite like this and if it works in the winter too, I'll definitely repurchase. 

Someone also mentioned it'd be great to compliment with a gua shua, which is a good idea!



I tested this product for 3 weeks, the first two days my skin broke out but that could also be because I was using another new product at the same time. I will say after 3 weeks my skin is definitely looks hydrated, gotta make sure you don't use too much.

Who picked the bottle for super saturated?? Terrible design. Messy messy! Hard to pour an accurate ammount & gets all over the bottle. Would be much better in a pump or in the bottle they used for buffer. 

Buffer is ok.  Does what it says. Much better value than I expected. It’s been lasting me forever

I love how strange and wonderful the brand is. Def speaks to my freak side. I really liked the concept of a reusable mask and the idea of it helping to keep the product on your face longer and help it seep in. I own all 3 of their products and they are all stellar! Amazing ingredients AND branding :)
