Great experience with Dutch so far --- had a very positive experience with Dr. Heather Aubrey after a coyote kerfuffle.

I just got my order of prescription flea medication for my dog and it was so easy.  With flea season coming up, I was worried about having to get my dog into the car to take her to the vet. I have trouble lifting her to get her into the car, and our dog gets very anxious whenever we step into the vet office.
Thanks to Dutch, I had a quick call with one of their vets and was able to get my medication delivered to me in just a few days. Highly recommend this service!

I love Dutch, I'm disabled and can't get to a vet with my dog. The dutch vets are awesome, they've been working with me to rid my pup of pyoderma. If you needs meds right away pay the expedited shipping, it's worth it. But if your animal needs it sooner you can get them to set it up to pick up at Walmart or cosco. I ordered meds on Friday. I paid the expedited shipping and it's already here on Monday. Awesome job Dutch, thank you so much!!

Does not provide good customer service. Veterinarian prescribed wrong dosage to my dog. I requested to return the 75 mg pills for either a refund or exchange for a lower dosage of 25 mg. Despite many attempts, they ignored me. I think this company is in the business of dispense/sell pills at any cause without consequences. Very disappointed. 

 I signed up for an annual subscription spoke with what I thought was a vet it was a woman in a t-shirt that looks like she just rolled out of bed very unprofessional then I find out they're not allowed to diagnosis or prescribe medications through telehealth so I canceled my subscription and after that you can't send them a message without subscribing and paying for a monthly fee or an annual fee there is no way of getting in touch with them I'm out a hundred and $112 I received the tracking number that UPS has no information about it this happened on May 2nd 2024 and I canceled on May 6th 2024 I've sent them several emails when I was subscribed never received a response never received anything from them just took my money and ran. Total BS company. They have no availability on RX vet appointments yet they advertise to have them at any time for any problem. 
You can have a non RX vet appointment sure. But what is the point of that? 
Don't waste your money. 

The vet visit was easy to scheduled and attend. However, the vet visit is basically a vet telling you to go to your real vet if you want real care...but they do prescribe meds. 

The problem comes in actually getting your meds. I placed the med order for my dog immediately after the vet visit and got the confirmation email. I paid for expedited shipping and then heard nothing for days. When I finally inquired, they said my dog's birthdate had not been entered (even though it is a required field I completed when I set my pet up)...and therefore they were holding my prescription.

If I hadn't inquired, I would have never known there was a problem. I immediately went back and re-entered my dog's birthdate...it is now 9 days later and her prescription has had a label created...it still has not shipped.

My advice is, stay away, go to a regular vet. Yes it costs more...but you truly do get what you pay for.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY
I thought this could be an affordable, quick and easy fix - we have a dog that has severe allergies and need to be prescribed steroids on a regular basis, Turns out.... since I live in New Mexico I cannot get a prescription from the vet, cannot purchase anything on the website, not even the tick medication. Before that information got revealed to me, I paid more than a hundred dollars. It's a scam, unfortunately.

My cat had an eye infection. The vet I spoke to stopped replying to my messages even though I messaged her the minute it got worse. The medication delivery was then delayed even after I paid a $25 premium to overnight it. I had to take my cat to the emergency vet and ended up spending $400. Their customer service didn’t reply to me until TWO days after that ER trip. Their phone like is disconnected. This was a preventable emergency. They don’t ship medications out on weekends, they charge you to transfer the scripts to other pharmacies, their medications are more expensive than Chewy and their customer service doesn’t give a damn. We were in the pet ER for two hours while my cat meowed in pain.  Don’t use it, just take your pet to the vet and save both of you some grief. 

As a person with multiple pets and a colony of feral/stray cats, this is a valuable tool for us.
Signed up, had appt the next morning, Dr Afaz was kind, patient and informative.
Meds are on the way.

Amazing service for non-emergency issues. Our dog gets UTIs. Hard to schedule visit with regular vet... They want to schedule in the middle of the day, pay $150 vet visit just to walk in, do a pee test, blood work and medical waste charge. Then with prescription you end up paying $350-$400. I was able to get a next day telehealth appt with Dr. Scanlon. She was great. Quick, easy, painless and extremely affordable! Even with annual membership and script, I saved hundreds of dollars and my dog did not get all worked up having to be in the vets office. Highly recommend!!!! 

The platform: I was able to get an appointment quickly, which was nice. However, the app is somewhat clunky and loads slowly, and the UI could use some enhancements.

The experience: The vet was late to the initial visit and seemed distracted. At one point, she said, "Sorry, my boss just messaged me." The purpose of the call was to get something to help relax my cat for a cross-country move. I was prescribed medication and also given some Greenies. However, the package I received only included the Greenies. With my move just 48 hours away, and given that this is a stressful situation for an older cat, I messaged the vet. Instead of showing understanding or recognizing the urgency, she referred me to their support team. When I asked if she could phone in a prescription to a local pharmacy — something I thought she would have offered initially — she mentioned it could take their care team 2 to 3 days to send the prescription. It's very strange that the vet couldn't call in a prescription. It felt as though the "chain of command" was more important than fixing the issue.

Needless to say, I won't be using this service again. I'll stick with a local vet going forward. It's clear that the convenience came at a cost in my case.

The business idea behind this website might be a great idea in theory. However, it has been over 24 hours since my dog was seen by their veterinarian.

I need a simple incontinence medication for my dog that she's already been taking for years, and now it's been over a full day and I still do not have a prescription in the pharmacy. They don't have it from them either. I keep getting text messages or emails randomly stating that it will take 24 hours. However, that's the same message that I got since yesterday afternoon.

There is nobody to whom you can speak.

This company is complete nonsense and I will definitely be reversing my charges on my credit card because this is ridiculous. I could've really gone to the vet in person and gotten this taken care of instead of wasting my time with this website.


Utterly Disappointed – Poor Service and Complete Lack of Communication
I wish I could give Dutch.com zero stars. My experience with this company has been one of the most frustrating and disappointing I’ve ever encountered. To anyone considering using their services: proceed with extreme caution. Here's why:

1. Abysmal Communication:
Before making my payment, Dutch.com was responsive and seemed eager to address all my questions. However, the moment my payment was processed, they disappeared. I have sent numerous emails and messages through their platform, but weeks later, I still haven’t received a single response. It’s as if they’ve vanished into thin air. This blatant disregard for their customers’ concerns is inexcusable.

2. Zero Accountability:
Once they have your money, they appear to have no interest in fulfilling their promises. I tried every avenue to get in touch—email, their contact form, even social media—but I’ve been completely ignored. It’s as though they deliberately avoid clients after taking their payment.

3. Misleading Practices:
Dutch.com promotes itself as a reliable and customer-focused service, but my experience couldn’t have been further from that. Their actions (or lack thereof) are alarmingly close to what I’d describe as deceptive practices. A company that neglects its clients after payment should not be trusted.

4. Lack of Transparency:
There is no clear way to escalate concerns. No phone number to call, no live chat support, and clearly, no intention to address issues. How can a company expect to retain customers or build trust when they refuse to provide even basic customer support?

5. Unresolved Issues:
Despite paying in full, I’ve received no updates, no communication, and no sign that they are working on delivering what was promised. This is not just poor service—it borders on being a scam.

Final Thoughts:
Dutch.com’s complete lack of response and failure to address their clients’ concerns makes them untrustworthy and unreliable. They seem more focused on taking payments than providing any level of service or support. I urge anyone considering using their services to think twice. You deserve a company that values you as a client—not one that takes your money and then ghosts you.

If Dutch.com chooses to resolve my issues or respond in a timely manner, I will happily update this review. But until then, I cannot recommend this company to anyone.

I wanted to purchase something for my cats, and discovered a membership for advice from a vet was also in my cart. I didn't put it there and I can't delete it.  So I didn't continue with the purchase.  Don't use them. That seems shakey.

Well me and my wife are both deathly sick so we we're trying not to have to take our dog to the vet since all of us were sick and on their app it said that they could help but once the doctor messaged me she said that there was probably nothing they would be able to do and I would have to go to my vet. I paid for a one-year membership and tried to cancel it immediately as they were no help for what I needed and they refuse a refund. They do not offer any refund. Complete joke scam of a company. They don't care about people only cash complete B's 

Unless all you need is a quick round of antibiotics, DO NOT spend your money.  According to them Gabepentin and Trazadone are the answers for EVERYTHING and when you tell them your fur baby had a reaction they say “That’s odd. Uploaded a video so we can see “. Ok, except the site won’t allow you to upload a video!  If it’s not carried by THEIR Pharmacy, it is 99.9% impossible to get them to prescribe something even though it’s worked for your fur baby his entire life.  Their “Chief Veterinarian “ told me that Chewy would fill it, but guess what??  Chewy doesn’t work with them anymore!!!  Three months in a row they sent my pets medication to the wrong address and their Pharmacy is super suspect as well.  Twice the medication that my Dog has been taking for three years made him sick and other times he’ll get a bottle of medication that doesn’t work, even though he’s been taking it for three years.   This entire business is unethical.  I’ll be starting the process of getting their Pharmacy investigated.  Who knows what’s REALLY in our pets medication 

Worst customer service, had an appointment for veterans at 4:20 could not get on zoom tried calling customer service no one would answer, tried emailing them said they would respond back in 4 hours 10 hours later no response, tried texting in Dutch said 15 minutes they would respond back 90 minutes later they responded back said it was to late to have the appointment.  No kidding them charge me 15 dollars for a missed appointment. After paying 25 for years and not really using the service then when I did all these issues. Not worth paying for membership and customer service is Worst in industry 

Dutch has been a lifesaver for us. The vets are great and it has saved us so much time and money. We have three dogs and two cats and it’s very hard to get them all to the vet for every little thing. Now we have Dutch and can talk to a vet anytime from the convenience of our home.

Dutch was a lifesaver for us.  We travel for work and work long hours so getting to the vet is hard. Dutch got us appointment same with no problems.  The vet we spoke with was very nice.  Are fur baby had a bad ear infection and needed antibiotics.  I ordered the medicine that day and it shipped the next day.  I would recommend Dutch to all my traveling friends. 

Dutch is a great company. I feel so lucky to have found them for my pup Coachella. My pup was struggling with me leaving for work every day and I was getting calls from my apartments complaining. I was able to set up service and schedule a Vet call pretty quickly. He helped me with the correct dosage that helped my dog stay more calm while I'm not there. Thank you for everything I feel so much better knowing I can contact someone for the small things at home and when it is convenient for me.
