Hi Julie - you hit the nail on the head: If you were looking for a soda substitute like Poppi AND if you don't like flavored sparkling waters in general - Bear's Fruit Probiotic Sparkling Water is probably not for you.  We hate the taste of stevia, so that's why we made our probiotic sparkling water with 100% real fruit & herbs - no sugar added, no fake sweeteners or any other weird stuff you find in drinks today.  It might be boring to some, but it's perfect to us! Thanks for sharing your honest POV. I'm sure it'll help others!

Ahhh Jacob - I won' t lie - this review hurt. Clearly taste is subjective, and we're not invalidating your experience, but we spent 2 years developing Bear's Fruit Probiotic Sparkling Water to taste nothing like LaCroix. We aren't fans of "natural flavors," so we only use 100% real fruit & fresh herbs in Bear's Fruit. You're correct - using fruit & herb pairings is our way to stand out from the basic / boring flavored sparkling waters on shelves today.  We may come out with some more "mainstream" SKUs as we grow, but it helps to be different when you're a small brand in a very competitive space.  Thanks for taking the time to share your feedback. I appreciate it.

Great and refreshing drink. The mango habanero has a kick that blends well with mango. Very nice tasting and isn't an overbearing sparkling drink. No natural flavors or hidden ingredients like other products. Will buy more!

I liked the flavor of this and that it didn't have any artificial ingredients!

I tried the mango habanero flavor. Wasn’t a huge fan.  It was in a weird in-between stage of watery, not all that sweet nor mango-ey, the habanero flavor came through in a weird acrid bitter way with mild heat on the back end.  Not really all that memorable.  Although if you’re a fan of hoppy beer, this might float your boat. It reminds me of everything I hate about hoppy beer (without the hops)


My teenager and I both tried the Strawberry Basil Bear's Fruit yesterday and pronounced it...boring. I should say that we are not drinkers of flavored seltzer, and so this drink probably tastes exactly as designed (I was hoping it would be more like Poppi--more like a lightly-sweetened soda.) It just didn't taste like much. On the positive side, it had a  natural-tasting strawberry flavor that came out only at the tail end of each sip, and if you're looking for a healthier and/or probiotic alternative to fruity seltzer, this could be it!

 He is all those things, but tonight we celebrate this was my first experience with Bears fruit sparkling water. It certainly won’t be my last. I chose an interesting flavor, mango habanero, not quite imagining what it would taste like. It was first quenching with a taste that does not overwhelm your pallet. After a long day, which was extra hot on the East Coast, this was the perfect can opening. I do plan on trying other flavors from this company. I highly recommend bears fruit sparkling water..

For me, who the one cutting sugar intake, this drink has no added sugar and with natural flavor, additional help my gut.
i like the taste  like infused water , I chose  watermelon mint, so refreshing if u drink on cold in the summer weather

Absolutely love the clean ingredients!  Using filtered water, organic fruit & herbs as well as live probiotics.  No natural flavors like so many on the shelf these days!  Refreshing summer escape:)

I bought the Bear's Fruit Strawberry Basil sparkling water and really liked it.  It was refreshing to drink, and I liked the flavor combination.  I am eager to try some of the other flavors.  I also liked that the can was slim so it was easy to grip and carry on the go.

I recently tried Bear’s Fruit gut health drinks, and I have to say, I’m impressed! 🍹 These drinks are made with 100% real fruit and herbs. I enjoyed sipping on the refreshing flavor during my afternoon break, and it felt great knowing I was doing something good for my gut health.

In addition to having elegant packaging, Bear’s Fruit sparkling water is delicious. They have created flavors I have never seen on the market before, including mango habanero and blackberry sage. The mango has such a nice subtle kick to it which is not too overwhelming but makes the drink very enjoyable. I would definitely recommend this product to any sparking water fans!

Both the kombucha and the sparkling water are great - the flavors are on the subtle side but absolutely delicious (and unique)! 

This product was nothing special. If you like drinks like la croix then you’ll probably enjoy this one. It was okay, but I wouldn’t say it was great or stood out in any way. I feel like they could do better if they had some normal flavors too instead of all these different concoctions, but I get that they want to be different. 

This tastes great! Just the right amount of sweetness. Definitely would try other flavors.

Overall these drinks were quite tasty but they had a very light flavor that left me wishing there was more. I do love the 100% natural mission and the packaging is great but there are other options out there that I would probably prefer 

This is a great combinations of herbs and fruits without making it taste werid. The can has a picture on it as well.  The sage one is my favorite. 

Delicious and tastes natural/real and not all artificially flavored like other brands. I love the unique flavor combinations and how it is the perfect level of carbonation.

The habenaro was good and not overpowering. Could have used more mango flavor - wasn’t as sweet as I would have liked. Might try another flavor but I won’t get this one again.
