I tried the peach rings and they REALLY stuck to my teeth. The flavour was acceptable but I really cannot get over the stickiness. Another thing is the powder coating of the candy was a bit off putting.

Water cream didn’t do much for me nor did the dewy skin cream but the texture and packaging are nice. Just wasn’t for me. I did really enjoy the Liquid Silk Canvas primer however but the price was hard to justify, so I never repurchased.

Expensive but effective. I’ve tried a gift set and it worked well for my hair. It’s proven to repair hair and the results showed for me. I haven’t repurchased because it’s expensive and I have a lot of hair, but if you have the budget for it then give it a try!

K18 Hair Mask did the most for me, if you’re deciding between the two (Not sponsored at all, I’ve just tried both out and had better results from K18).

Not a fan. There seem to be a lot of ingredients that cause irritation, such as fragrance, dye and denatured alcohol… I’ve tried out the rose water spray years ago and it caused more harm than good for me (irritation).

    Feedback

Skin-friendly formulations are essential to skincare! It’s not effective skincare if the formulation doesn’t actually provide care for your skin. Not to mention, the brand has been sued for “higher than prescription-strength doses of triamcinolone acetonide”. Ethics and values are important to me when I look for a brand, so I don’t think I’ll repurchase from this brand; there are just so many better brands out there.

    The Ordinary

The price just can’t be beat. Everything is affordable and the brand transparency is admirable. I do have other brands that I prefer (MERIT instant glow serum, Fenty fat water milky toner essence, LaRoche Posay Cicaplast products), but if you’re on a budget then The Ordinary is a wonderful option.

    Feedback

Some of the solutions are runny. I would love to see a thicker hyaluronic serum, similar to Dermalogica’s circular hydration serum. A dupe for that would be amazing!

I have the bronzer and it’s great. I’ve used the Fenty one too but I think the Rare Beauty one is better for me because the formulation is creamier and therefore easier to blend in.

    Feedback

The bronzer stick is a bit thick, so it’s harder to be precise for nose contour but I still think it’s great overall. The brand is relatively affordable which I appreciate. A little goes a long way!

I have a matching set that I bought on sale. The quality and fit are good. I wouldn’t say the designs are innovative in any way, but the colour offerings are great. I don’t find myself reaching for it too often- I think it looks better than it actually feels but it’s still a purchase that I have no regrets over. They make great neutral sets with cute colours.

    Feedback

I found the fit to be on the tighter side and I feel a little restricted. If the fabric were a bit stretchier I think I would reach for my Set more often

I have a couple items from Alo, and my favourite is the sweetheart top. Alo’s design execution is amazing, and the quality is satisfactory. For the price, I feel like you’re mostly paying for the aesthetic and design, but the quality is still there. The clothing is really expensive too so I like to peruse the sale section.

    Feedback

I think there’s still some room for improvement in quality, given the price markup. Personally, if I had to compare between Alo and Lululemon, I would say that Lululemon always hits the nail on the head with quality but Alo’s designs and colourways are spot on. Both brands have unique qualities so I would recommend combining a mix of both brands for workout/going out fits.

I reallyy love the scent of the grapefruit foaming hand soap, but the other products don't really stand out to me. Overall the products are simple and effective.

Cutest packaging + branding by faaaar. I've tried so many products I can't even remember which I've tried, but the highlights are the balm dot com and futuredew oil serum. The serum is definitely innovative, and it gives a nice glow. The balms are just all around solid in terms of packaging, scent and formulation. I am obsessed with the berry and mango ones, they're lightly tinted and smell AMAZING
