I purchased frozen açaí packs from this brand to make açaí bowls. Was super bummed. They are SO sweet. They have 12g added sugar, which in my opinion, is far too sweet. Açaí is naturally bitter, but I’d prefer to have the ability to sweeten my own blends with honey, etc rather than have to neutralize the super-sweetness of these frozen packs. Not going to buy again, unfortunately. :(

    Purchased through a Thingtesting offer

Bought the Slug Cream through a Thingdrop. :) Pros/Cons below: PROS: - Huge fan of the packaging, branding, and unboxing experience. - No funky smell or anything. Not really any smell at all; pretty neutral. CONS: - This was a con for me because I’m weird about texture. The cream itself feels exactly like Vaseline - not like a traditional cream/facial moisturizer. I personally didn’t love that; felt like I had oily residue on my hands after applying to my face. (That’s the point of slugging; I just realized I didn’t personally vibe w/ it after giving it a go) - I typically have an oily T-Zone and dry skin elsewhere on my face. I did find that my clogged-pore, oily nose seemed worse - my makeup wasn’t staying as well put during the day when using the cream the prior evening. Apparently this is a thing that happens with slugging because the process intentionally traps fluid to prevent fluid loss. TLDR: I tried it at night for about 2 weeks and didn’t notice any major benefits over other facial moisturizers I’ve used. Not sure if that’s long enough to really see the results of “slugging” but my internet research tells me it’s actually a legit science-backed process, just might not be the best for my skin type. 🤷🏻‍♀️

MASSIVE fan of Kate Somerville skincare products. I first found them when I was in high school - so around 2014ish - and have been a religious serum & cleanser/scrub user since. Fav products: 1) Bio-Mimicking Peptide Serum: Unfortunately, I think this was recently discontinued, which super sucks because it's my favorite serum I've ever tried. Product description says it's designed to smooth, firm, and hydrate skin - and it does exactly that. I use it after cleansing my face in the AM and PM, and then put my First Aid Beauty moisturizer on top. This stuff is incredible. You can still buy it a few places where stock is left -- I recommend doing that & stocking up. 2) ExfoliKate Wash: The best exfoliating cleanser I've ever used. The perfect balance of gentle and effective!

Absolute game changer. Tastes like the crispy skin on a rotisserie chicken + a chip had a baby. My faves are the Himalayan sea salt & the salt + vinegar!

Stila, hands down, makes the best liquid waterproof eyeliner of all time. Literally will last days if you don’t touch it with makeup remover. A truly impressive formula.

Full disclosure: I used to work at this brand. But that has not clouded my judgement about their products, which are incredible. Genuinely amazing, backed by science vitamin formulas + super yummy taste. Soooo bummed I don’t get product for free/on discount anymore! Their womens and kids gummy vitamins are exceptional.

Undoubtedly the best leather products I’ve ever owned. My roll top backpack has been life changing. I love that they have a section with discounted imperfect products for sale - which, for the record, have always looked absolutely flawless when I ordered & unboxed them! My favorite leather goods brand ever.

I’ve had so many CamelBaks through the years. I love that their dishwasher safe and durable, but my big point of beef is that the straw/mouthpiece area always gets gnarly if you don’t really get in there with a special scrub brush. It will absolutely grow mold if you don’t. :(
