    Jeni's Splendid Ice Creams

In a crowded field of luxury ice creams, Jeni’s stands out because of its fresh, innovative flavors. I’m not sure its consistency is that much better than so many others, but it’s excellent. I have a Jeni’s about a five-minute walk from my house, but there are literally 8 other ice cream shops I can walk to. So if there’s a line, I go somewhere else. In other words, it’s not worth waiting that long for.

Make more flavors with chocolate and nuts. Also, the staff at the Alexandria store could be friendlier. Like, smile when you walk in. You want to feel some joy when you’re splurging and treating yourself to ice cream. Even though I do it several times a week!

    Cocofloss

The. Worst. Dental. Floss. Ever. Thin, stringy and contrary to what they claim, it shredded and got stuck in my teeth. I don’t even understand why this is needed. Glide works great. I ended up throwing the very expensive batch out.

The floss. Make it thicker and shred proof.

I have not personally tested the products in the Bark Box, but my yellow Lab, Maisy, has had a subscription for the last 6 years, since she was a puppy. She gives it an enthusiastic paws-up. Since Maisy is a heavy chewer, we got the large dog box, which comes every month with two cute toys and two kinds of treats. Often some chewy thing, too. Maisy goes crazy when the Bark box arrives- jumping and wagging her tail. She watches carefully as I open the box and waits for what comes out. We have a routine. She investigates each toy for a minute, then comes back to try each treat. She usually loves the toys, especially squeaky ones. As another reviewer said, we don’t really need all these toys, but she loves getting the box so much I don’t have the heart to cancel. We have a bin of toys and Maisy will choose toys throughout the day to play with. Periodically, I’ll throw out old toys to make room for new ones and I give away lots of treats to her dog walker- they’re all natural and most dogs can eat them.

Fewer edibles. For example, two toys every month, but fewer treats- only one each month, or two very small packages.

    Prose

Hyper-customized? No- hyper-marketing. I have a lot of thin hair that tends to frizz and was tempted by Prose’s promise to create my best full-silky hair. Instead of silky, the products made my hair feel sticky and dirty. I ended up sending the products back, and received a full refund, which is why I give Prose one star.

The basic product line. I don’t k ow how to improve it.
